Kevin Costner, 70, enjoys a date night with new girlfriend Kelly Noonan Gores, 46, as they step out in Aspen ahead of New Year’s Eve

Kevin Costner was spotted on a date with his girlfriend, Kelly Noonan Gores, in Aspen, Colorado on Monday.

The 70-year-old actor and the 46-year-old filmmaker bundled up for a night out with friends.

Kevin sported a brown coat which he wore with a black jumper, light blue jeans and tan shoes.

Kelly wore a khaki coat with dark jeans and brown ankle boots, which gave her a bit of extra height.

Also wearing green gloves, she completed her look for the evening with a striped clutch bag.     

People started speculating about a relationship between Kevin and Kelly in August. They were both at the JAS Labor Day Experience festival near Aspen, Colorado, over the long weekend, though they weren’t seen together at the time.

A source told Daily Mail: ‘Kevin is dating and happy again after a very dark time in his life.

He’s been dating Kelly. They spent time together in Aspen in late July, but he’s been trying to keep the relationship quiet because he’s worried about how it might be received.

According to an insider, she’s exactly the kind of person he’s attracted to, and they share many interests, like enjoying the outdoors, playing sports, surfing, and taking long walks with their dogs.

She has young children, and he really enjoys being around kids, which he finds endearing. He also appreciates that she’s easygoing and relaxed, and that’s something he’s looking for right now.

Kevin and his new partner began dating after his divorce from Christine was finalized in February 2024, following a difficult legal process.

Christine and her former partner married in 2004 and had three children. However, in 2023, Christine filed for divorce due to issues they couldn’t resolve.

In the end, Kevin was required to pay $63,209 each month for child support, which was significantly less than the $248,000 Christine originally asked for.

The bad feelings between them resulted in Christine being asked to move out of Kevin Costner’s $145 million beach house in Carpinteria only two months after she started the divorce process.

Christine is now engaged to Josh Connor, a financier, after he proposed in January.

This follows a chilly interaction between Kevin and Christine at their son Cayden’s high school graduation in June.

Photos published by the Daily Mail revealed Kevin ignoring his former partner while celebrating in Santa Barbara, as their son posed uncomfortably for pictures.

Even though their famous court case was over a year ago, it was obvious at the graduation ceremony that they still weren’t completely on good terms.

The former couple stayed apart, making sure to avoid each other and prevent any face-to-face meetings.

Someone close to the situation revealed details about the pair’s uncomfortable meeting as they tried to move past their disagreements.

It was clear they both knew the other was present, but they completely ignored each other. There’s no point dwelling on it; their past friendship is over and won’t be rekindled.

The day focused entirely on celebrating Cayden and his graduation. Although his parents generally agreed it was best if Kevin and Christine kept their distance from each other, they set aside their personal issues to make the day special for their son.

According to a source familiar with the situation, certain priorities are more important right now. While coordinating schedules proved difficult, it happened right after a truly remarkable success, which helped cushion the challenge.

Cayden was happy his parents were there for him, and everyone had a good time. It was a familiar and enjoyable day.

Kevin loves his children and was careful to keep his problems with Christine from spoiling the celebration.
