This year, the game got a great update with new car designs, special collaboration vehicles, and lots of vibrant stickers.
Getting all the cars in Rocket League’s item shop requires constant spending and fast reactions to limited-time deals. While this can feel like a relentless grind, buying items you enjoy is completely up to you.
It’s always exciting to see the new cars added to the game each year. Here are some of the best Rocket League car designs released in 2025.
1. Xentari from Season 19 Rocket Pass
This car isn’t the result of a flashy partnership; it was designed entirely within Rocket League by the Xentari team. Despite that, it offers some clear benefits.
- It’s a cool-looking auto, especially with its unique decal.
- The hitbox is Octane, and it’s the most popular choice among the Rocket League players, arguably the best.
- Xentari and its decal were available in Rocket Pass Season 19, alongside many other cosmetics. There was no need to pay for a bundle.
Rocket League released some good cars as rewards in its Rocket Pass throughout 2025, and these three are particularly noteworthy.
- Dodge Charger Daytona Scat from Season 18, with the Dominus hitbox.
- Pontiac Firebird from Season 20, with the Breakout hitbox.
Corlay, a car from Season 21, features the Octane hitbox. It’s a fun car with a classic, French-inspired design. Many players appreciate Corlay and have added it to their regular vehicle choices.
2. Homer’s car: The Simpsons collaboration event
Okay, so this car in Rocket League is seriously wild! The creators did an amazing job of making it look exactly like something straight out of The Simpsons, and then they somehow made it even cooler than just the show itself. It really stands out!
- Homer’s car uses the Dominus hitbox.
The standard pink car is fine, but it’s the unique Simpsons-themed stickers included in the bundle that really make it stand out as one of the best Rocket League releases of 2025. They’re genuinely funny!
3. Nissan Skyline GT-R with Godzilla and King Kong decals
One of the best parts of this partnership is that Rocket League now features the Nissan Skyline GT-R (R32) as a playable car. It uses the Hybrid hitbox.
The Godzilla and King Kong decals look pretty cool!
4. BMW M4 GT3 EVO and Bleach decals
Driving a BMW in Rocket League is a fantastic experience! We might be able to add the BMW M4 GT3 EVO to the game in 2025, and it was included as part of a special bundle with content from Bleach.
The hitbox here is Dominus. There were three decals available alongside the car.
5. Chevrolet Corvette ZR1: A car from Rocket League Summer Road Trip 2025
I was so excited when I found out I could earn this car by completing some special challenges! At first, it didn’t come with any unique stickers or anything, but thankfully, the designers later added it to a bundle in the shop, so now you can get it with those cool extras.
Winning the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 for free was a great offer! The hitbox is Breakout.
6. 2025 Aston Martin Valhalla and decals of Hogwarts Houses
Aston Martin updated its Valhalla sports car for 2025, and it became available in Rocket League later that year, featuring the Breakout hitbox.
The 2025 Aston Martin Valhalla features special designs created in partnership with the Harry Potter series. The four decal options represent the different Hogwarts Houses. While the designs closely reflect the Harry Potter world, fans will likely appreciate the connection.
7. BMW M3 (E30) with Power Rangers decals
This car is more about the classic look of BMW, and it sure has plenty of admirers.
The new decals aren’t quite as visually impressive as some of the other Rocket League collaborations this year. However, adding the BMW M3 to the game was a fantastic move!
8. Porsche 918 Spyder with Sonic the Hedgehog decals
The standard version of this car is a hybrid, boasting Porsche’s signature style. Given its focus on performance, partnering with Sonic the Hedgehog feels like a perfect fit.
The Porsche 918 Spyder uses the ‘Breakout’ hitbox design. Its Sonic the Hedgehog-themed decals are very vibrant and attention-grabbing, capturing the energetic feel of Sonic and Knuckles.
9. The Krabby Patty Wagon: A SpongeBob car in Rocket League
The very look of this car is eye-catching — in a positive way or not, it’s up to you to decide.
In one of the SpongeBob SquarePants movies, the Krabby Patty Wagon played a key role in SpongeBob’s quest to recover Neptune’s crown and rescue Mr. Krabs. Now, fans can drive a version of that iconic vehicle – decorated with the Octane design – in the popular video game Rocket League.
The special package included some stickers. However, unlike the customizations on Homer Simpson’s car, these stickers don’t significantly alter the overall look of the SpongeBob-themed vehicle.
10. Classic Turtle Van: A TMNT decal
This van shares the same basic shape as the Merc, and visually, it’s quite close to the original Turtle design. When compared to the other new cars coming to Rocket League in 2025, the Classic Turtle Van has a distinctly toy-like appearance.
These visuals really capture the spirit of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Adding the Turtle Power Topper from the collaboration pack would perfectly complete the classic cartoon look.
During the Haunted Hallows event, Rocket League added a new car inspired by the popular cartoon Scooby-Doo: The Mystery Machine. Like many Rocket League cars, it’s based on the Merc platform.
Both vans are pretty good, and honestly, they have a similar feel. Just pick the one from the cartoon you enjoy more!
11. Star Wars decals for Porsche 911 GT3 RS
Rocket League recently got some new designs to celebrate Star Wars Day, featuring characters like Darth Vader, Darth Maul, and Captain Phasma.
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS, sporting a Darth Maul-inspired color scheme, looks fantastic. However, this isn’t a brand new car model for the game; it’s from 2024 and uses the Dominus hitbox.
12. Hatsune Miku decals: An unusual collaboration
It makes sense that Rocket League would partner with major car companies like McLaren and Porsche. While future collaborations starting in 2025 seem likely, this particular one is surprising – at least SpongeBob and The Simpsons both feature cars in their universes.
Okay, so the Hatsune Miku event really threw me for a loop! She’s seriously from another world, and it was wild seeing the Rocket League and Hatsune Miku fanbases collide. The decals they made for the event are spot-on, too – all that silver, neon green, and pink really captures her vibe.
- Miku Rider Dark Octane decal was available from the event challenges.
- Beam and Lite decal variants for Cyclone were in a special bundle.
We were able to partner with Hatsune Miku because of an event in Fortnite. It’s still unusual to see content from Fortnite come to Rocket League, so this collaboration is special.
We can expect even more cars to be added to Rocket League next season. Beyond just new cosmetic items like decals, the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) 2026 will feature plenty of competitive action. Many esports betting sites will offer wagers on these big tournaments, letting you add to the fun – or even earn some money to buy a new car in the game!
