Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay surprised people in a small village shop in Wiltshire when he stopped by to buy some groceries following his daughter Holly’s wedding to Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty.
Influencer Holly, age 25, married Olympian Adam, 31, on Saturday at Bath Abbey. The couple then celebrated with a reception at the luxurious Kin House.
Only a few hours after their big celebration, attended by over 200 guests, Gordon stopped by the local village store in Yatton Keynell, Chippenham.
The 59-year-old TV chef even smiled for a photo with the shopkeepers, who then shared it on Facebook.

It comes after Gordon reportedly made a brutal dig at his new son-in-law’s parents in his speech.
Everyone in the Peaty family wasn’t invited to the wedding, except for Adam’s sister, Beth, who was a bridesmaid.
Gordon Ramsay has become involved in the situation surrounding his son-in-law, Adam Peaty, and his family. According to The Sun, Ramsay believes his wife, Tana, will be a supportive mother figure to Peaty’s children. The report also states that Adam Peaty has blocked his family from contacting him.
During his speech, Gordon complimented Holly on how lovely she looked and told Adam he was fortunate to be marrying her. He then pointed to his wife, Tana, saying Adam could expect a similar happy future with Holly.
The article also reports that Gordon made a hurtful comment to his daughter, Holly, about Adam’s parents, saying, ‘It’s a shame you don’t have the same [parents].’
During his speech, Adam focused on his swim coach, Mel Marshall, whom he credited with being a hugely important influence and source of support, rather than mentioning his family or parents. He described Marshall as someone who kept him grounded and motivated.
In an emotional moment he also reportedly said that he saw Mel ‘like a mum’ due to her support.
According to a source, the Ramsays intentionally worked to remove Adam’s family, and they’ve now achieved that goal.
It’s surprising that Gordon and Tana, as parents themselves, don’t seem to have much sympathy for Caroline, Mark, and their family.

The influencer had a valid reason to feel nervous as she walked through the bustling crowd before her wedding to Adam.
The seemingly perfect wedding hid a bitter family feud. The groom’s mother, and most of his relatives, were left out of the celebration, with accusations of elitism and social prejudice fueling the conflict.
More than 130 miles away in Staffordshire, Adam’s mother, Caroline, was devastated to miss what should have been a joyous occasion, overwhelmed with grief at not being there for her son.
Standing in front of the house where he spent his childhood, Adam, 59, told The Mail on Sunday he wouldn’t allow himself to be hurt like that again.
She had told Daily Mail that she felt as if Holly and Adam ‘have cut my heart out’.
Just before Adam Peaty entered the abbey with his son George, he received a heartbreaking text message from his aunt Louise, who hadn’t been invited to the wedding. We’re revealing this new information now.
She wrote, expressing her hope that he would never experience the same intense pain he’d caused their mother, and acknowledging that, despite everything, she still loved him. She ended with a strong condemnation of both of them, simply stating, ‘Shameful.’
On this joyful day, and every anniversary of it, please remember the deep pain you caused your mother. Her heart still aches with sadness.
This family feud started in September 2024 when Adam and Holly didn’t invite many of their relatives to their engagement party, causing significant hurt feelings.
Caroline wasn’t included in Holly’s recent, lavish hen party at Soho Farmhouse, despite years of driving her son to training and the attendance of guests like Tana Ramsay and Victoria Beckham.
I was so touched to hear that even with everything going on, my mom, Caroline, still made sure to send a card and a gift to my brother for his 31st birthday this past Sunday. It really meant a lot that she remembered, especially considering everything.
