I’ve been following Elsie Hewitt, Pete Davidson’s girlfriend, and it’s so refreshing to see her share what motherhood is really like. She’s giving us all a peek behind the curtain at the ups and downs, and it feels so real and relatable – not just the perfect Instagram moments!
On Friday, the 29-year-old model and actress posted a mirror selfie to Instagram, revealing she was wearing an adult diaper.
Elsie recently shared that she welcomed a daughter, Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson, on December 12th. She also addressed questions from her followers, confirming that she doesn’t use diapers for urination.
The popular actress, whose boyfriend Pete recently completed a costly tattoo removal process, also surprised fans with her incredibly toned stomach just two weeks after giving birth.
In a selfie taken in her bathroom, Elsie lifted her black shirt to show her bra.
‘adult diapers all day (& night) 🫡,’ she captioned the photo.

Elsie also made it clear that the diaper wasn’t a solution for needing to relieve herself.
She mentioned her sister jokingly asked if she pees in her pants, and clarified to anyone wondering that she absolutely does not! She found the question funny.
Many women experience some leakage or incontinence after giving birth, and diapers can help manage everything from minor accidents to more significant issues.
The diaper can also help women who are experiencing significant bleeding after having a baby.
Although a glimpse of her underwear got a lot of attention in her Instagram Stories, Elsie also shared some of the essential items she’s been using after giving birth.
I remember she sketched a quick arrow leading to the tub, and right next to it, a pack of those cooling pads. It was so thoughtful – she knew those would be a lifesaver for the soreness and swelling after the baby came. It just showed how prepared she was, and honestly, it made me feel so much better knowing she’d thought of everything!
As someone who shares a lot about self-care, I’ve been noticing people are really curious about those little bottles you often see in bathrooms – you know, the ones with the angled spout? They’re called peri bottles, and honestly, they’re a total game-changer for gentle cleaning and soothing any discomfort down there. I recently mentioned it to my followers, and it seems like a lot of my 1.1 million Instagram community were wondering what they were!
Elsie shared an update on how she’s recovering and also gave her fans a peek at her first Christmas with Pete and their family.

She posted a cute photo on Instagram of a tiny, red and white knitted bootie for her daughter, Scottie Rose, resting in her palm.
Elsie recently shared how she’s been doing after having a baby, following a post from her boyfriend about his progress removing tattoos.
The comedian, 32, who is said to have spent about $200,000 on tattoo removal, was pictured holding their newborn daughter in photos the model posted on Sunday.
Pete Davidson showed off his arms while sitting with his baby, revealing that most of his tattoos are gone, though he still has a few on his shoulders and chest.
A second image showed Hewitt holding Scottie, who was swaddled in a pink blanket.
In her caption, Elsie dubbed Pete and Scottie ‘MY BEST FRIENDS.’
The former SNL cast member started getting tattoos removed in 2020 as part of his journey to sobriety.
According to a source who spoke with People magazine in January, the actor decided he no longer wanted the items and began the process of getting rid of them, a process that has taken years.

According to another source, Pete Davidson has been sober since last September and has gained twenty pounds as part of a new chapter in his life.
People are saying he’s having a lot of success – his career is on track, and his movie, Dog Man, is getting rave reviews.
That month, the comedian openly discussed getting his tattoos removed on the Today show, describing the experience as ‘pretty terrible’.
Davidson advised viewers considering a tattoo to be absolutely certain it’s what they want before getting one.
I noticed he raised his arm, pointing to a tattoo that had really faded with time. He just said, with a bit of a sigh, that it was almost completely gone now.
Okay, so Pete explained why he ditched the tattoos, and honestly, it just makes me love him even more! He said getting sober was a huge part of it. He looked in the mirror and didn’t even recognize himself – he was like, “Who is that guy?” It was a real wake-up call, and he knew he needed a change. It’s just…so him, you know? It was like he needed to shed the old skin and start fresh. I totally get it!
During a February appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Pete Davidson talked about removing his tattoos.
The actor explained that he didn’t initially understand that the process would take years.

He explained that he hadn’t expected the effects to be so long-lasting, saying he thought everything – like his strength and physical condition – would be completely diminished by the time he reached forty.
He said removing a tattoo usually takes a minimum of seven sessions. Black and white tattoos are simpler to remove, but color tattoos take significantly longer.
Seth Meyers jokingly asked Pete Davidson if there were any tattoos he regretted getting, and Pete responded by saying he wanted to get rid of all of them.
The actor, known for ‘The Pickup,’ explained that he got some regrettable tattoos before entering rehab. He jokingly called them his ‘dumbest’ tattoos, saying he made those decisions during that time.
Pete Davidson has been sober for about a year. He also sought treatment for mental health issues, such as PTSD and borderline personality disorder, at a wellness facility in July 2024.
In 2023, the actor sought treatment at a facility to prioritize his mental well-being. A source told People magazine that taking care of his mental health has always been important to him.
Oh my gosh, I heard from someone who knows Pete, and they told me he actually goes to rehab sometimes, just to get a handle on things. It’s like, he’s so dedicated to being better! And everyone around him – his friends, his family – they’re all totally there for him, which is just… amazing. I’m so proud of him for taking care of himself!
Pete has publicly discussed his mental health for years. Back in 2018, he shared with Variety that he’d been receiving mental health treatment on and off since childhood, starting at age nine.

He shared that the past few years have been difficult for him, but he’s been focusing on improving his mental well-being through classes and self-reflection.
When Davidson was seven years old, his father, a firefighter in Staten Island, tragically died in the 9/11 attacks.
I was so thrilled to hear the wonderful news! On December 18th, it was revealed that he and Elsie had welcomed their first child on December 12th. It’s just lovely!
Hewitt took to Instagram to share the special news and upload photos of the newborn.
The media personality announced the birth of their daughter, Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson, on December 12, 2025, calling her their ‘perfect angel girl.’
I’m incredibly proud of this project and feeling overwhelmed with happiness and thankfulness. It’s hard to believe it’s done! – Elsie. A shout-out to the Wu-Tang Clan! – Pete
You know, being a mom is such a journey! I recently found myself unexpectedly emotional, even though my little girl is absolutely wonderful. It’s funny how even ‘perfect’ moments can bring tears to your eyes – it just proves how deeply you feel!
The model shared a selfie on Instagram Stories with a playful question for other mothers: ‘Do you ever just sit and stare at your baby, eat, and cry from how much you love them?’

It’s incredible that this perfect little one is yours, created by your own body. You’re so overwhelmed with love that you can’t help but cry.
After giving birth, Hewitt revealed that she had to get a tooth removed just one day later.
She posted a picture of her swollen jaw, which she was icing, taken from inside her car.
Elsie looked at her newborn baby and jokingly wondered online if anyone else had to have a wisdom tooth pulled from the hospital just a day after giving birth.
