As a huge Marvel fan, I was so excited to see the cast list for Avengers: Doomsday! It looks like they’re bringing in everyone to fight Robert Downey Jr.’s version of Doom. We’re talking the classic Avengers, the new team they’re calling the Thunderbolts, the Fantastic Four, and even the original X-Men movie cast! One thing people have been wondering about is Venom – he’s been absent from the MCU for a while now, and if they finally introduce symbiotes in the next Avengers film directed by the Russo brothers, I think the internet might actually break!
When Iron Man died in Avengers: Endgame, most people thought Robert Downey Jr.’s time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was finished. That’s why the announcement of his return as Doctor Doom in Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars caused such a huge reaction online. Fans are really excited to see him play a villain, and it would be incredible if the Oppenheimer actor shared a scene with a younger version of himself.
