Machine Gun Kelly was spotted enjoying a fun shopping trip in Los Angeles with his daughter, Saga, and appeared to be a very loving dad.
The 34-year-old musician carried his young daughter in one arm and a shopping bag in the other, wearing comfortable clothes while running errands.
This trip follows a recent family gathering with Megan Fox in Miami earlier this month.
Though they separated in November 2024, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, parents to Saga born in March, are said to be co-parenting well. Sources close to Fox have noted she’s pleased with how involved MGK has become as a father.
There’s a lot of talk that the former couple might be getting back together, and their fans are excited about the possibility.
Only a few days before performing in Los Angeles, Machine Gun Kelly caused a stir in Miami by showing off his new, large black tattoo covering his entire chest, demonstrating he still maintains his rebellious and bold style.
The celebrity first showed off the unique black chest piece in February 2024 with an Instagram post, explaining it was ‘For spiritual purposes only.’
A large area of his upper body is covered in solid black tattoo ink, but parts of his older tattoos are still visible. These are carefully worked into sections on his arms and within a cross-shaped design on his chest.
Looking back, that intense face tattoo Kelly – whose real name is Colson Baker – got really reflected a difficult time in his life. He actually opened up about it in his song, ‘Don’t Let Me Go,’ and you can really feel the emotion behind it. It was a way of expressing what he was going through.
He rapped about regretting not tuning people out, and wishing they’d understand his perspective for once. He described a difficult emotional moment, explaining he covered his body in tattoos except for a single, deliberate line, and then stated everything was okay.
On Saturday, the 34-year-old seemed much happier and relaxed, enjoying time with friends on Miami Beach. He proudly showed off his extensive tattoos.
Megan Fox wasn’t with Machine Gun Kelly during their beach trip. She and her daughter, Saga, welcomed in March, didn’t join them.
Kelly, age 35, and Fox, 39, had a baby girl in March. This came just four months after reports surfaced in November 2024 that they had split, allegedly because the actress found out he had been messaging other women.
Even though they split up, people are now saying Fox is really impressed with how much her ex-fiancé has been there for her and their baby, leading to speculation they might get back together.
MGK shared that his new blackout tattoo was created using 44 needles, mentioning this in an Instagram Story when he showed it off.
According to tattoo artist Roxx, the musician had a spiritual reading before getting the tattoo.
During their conversation, MGK told her he felt his old tattoos no longer reflected who he was now, describing them as messy and disorganized.
The process looked really challenging, and Roxx said working with MGK was the hardest experience of her career.
She explained that the work began in mid-December, with Machine Gun Kelly coming to her private studio in Los Angeles four days a week for thirteen sessions that each lasted six hours.
The artist is still finishing up the portrait of the musician, and says it’s been one of her most ambitious projects, completed in a very short timeframe.
Roxx took to her own Instagram to share a different photo of her jaw-dropping work on MGK.
She shared a post with the same message as her interview, writing, ‘Created some art with @machinegunkelly. He’s one of the most resilient people I know.’
In June, the musician adorned his already extensively tattooed arm with an additional design.
In August 2021, he revealed a matching tattoo he got with Travis Barker, right as he announced his sixth album, Born with Horn.
Before this, the duo collaborated on MGK’s pop-punk album, Tickets to My Downfall.
In 2024, Megan added a full sleeve tattoo to her left arm.
The tattoo features a detailed black and gray phoenix rising up, with bright red flowers adding a striking contrast.
The design spans from her shoulder, extending gracefully just beyond her wrist.
