In a shocking turn of events, Kakao Games has announced that Goddess Order will cease operations on January 31, 2026 โ just three months after its release. This announcement follows the recent bankruptcy of the game’s developer, PixelTribe, making the news particularly unexpected.
Goddess Order previously entered indefinite maintenance just one month after global launch
I was really bummed to hear from the Goddess Order team that the game is shutting down. They said they did everything they could to keep it going, but things behind the scenes just weren’t working out. It’s a shame, and it’s actually Kakao Games’ second game to close this year โ remember when they sunsetted Eversoul back in August? It’s definitely a bit worrying as a fan.
PixelTribe is shutting down because the company is going bankrupt and there’s no one left to keep the game running. The servers will be turned off for good at the end of January.
Hey everyone, it’s really sad to share, but it looks like Goddess Order is going to be shutting down on January 31st, 2026. The developers, PixelTribe, unfortunately went bankrupt and there’s no one left to maintain the game. I’ve had so many great times playing, and I’m going to miss it! They’ve linked some info about details and refunds, so check that out if you’re affected. Thanks for all the fun memories! ๐ค

When the game service ends, all your game progress will be erased, and the game will no longer be available to play or download. Weโve already turned off ads, so you wonโt be able to earn rewards by watching them.
Kakao Games released the globally available side-scrolling action role-playing game (ARPG) on September 24, 2025, following a limited release in July. The game is known for its detailed pixel art, quick and exciting battles, and unique system where players control a team of three knights.
Just last month, the game went into an indefinite maintenance period because PixelTribe was facing financial and operational problems. While it briefly returned, it appears the issues weren’t fully resolved.
December has brought a few unexpected game closures, including King Arthur: Legends Rise, Blade & Soul Heroes, Real Racing 3, and TEPPEN. Hopefully, no more games will announce theyโre shutting down during the holidays, at least not soon.
