George Rains from Love Island has tied the knot! He recently revealed his beautiful wife, sharing photos of her for the first time on her birthday, after keeping their relationship under wraps.
The 29-year-old reality star looked incredibly happy and proud to be married in the photos he posted on Instagram.
George became well-known during the fifth season of the show, where he competed with stars like Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury. He was coupled up with Lucie Rose Donlan during his time on the program.
The trainer wished Serena, his new wife, a happy birthday while sharing some heartwarming photos of them together.
We don’t know the exact date, but the couple is now happily married and living in Australia.
In August, Serena, seemingly an office worker, posted some professional photos of herself with George.
She recently updated her Facebook status to ‘married’ and has adopted her husband’s last name. On Instagram, she’s now known as @serenarains.
Okay, so it seems George has really moved on from his time on Love Island. From what I’m hearing, he’s pretty much disconnected from the rest of the cast these days – it’s like that chapter of his life is well and truly closed!
While on the show, he faced accusations of secretly seeing an Instagram model even though he was trying to build a relationship with Yewande Biala.
The Sun reports that while publicly dating Yewande, 23, after splitting from Lucie Donlan, the reality star was also seeing model Nicole Tamerian.
Things got worse when Amber Gill, the winner of Love Island, publicly liked a tweet criticizing George. The tweet, from an upset fan, claimed George was using Yewande to get more attention.
According to a source, he initially tried to pursue Lucie Donlan, but when that didn’t seem promising, he quickly shifted his attention to Yewande, likely because she had a large social media following.
‘George is desperate to stay in the limelight after his four days of fame.
‘He has absolutely no feelings for Yewande as he was seeing Nicole [Tamerian] at the time.’
Nicole has since claimed George told her that he was only friends with the Love Island star.
She previously told the Daily Mail that she wasn’t sure what his feelings were towards the other woman. She also emphasized that she wouldn’t accept anything less than the best in a relationship, and confirmed they were not dating.
We had a brief encounter at a members-only event called Playhxuse – we kissed, but nothing came of it. Still, I hope he and Yewande can resolve whatever issues they were having.
A representative for Yewande and another for George declined to comment to Daily Mail.
