So, Macaulay Culkin – you know, Kevin McCallister from Home Alone – got everyone talking again about whether Die Hard is actually a Christmas movie. He basically said it’s not, even though a lot of the stuff happens during Christmas. It’s a debate that never really ends, but hearing it from him definitely stirred things up!
He explained to Mythical Kitchen that while a St. Patrick’s Day version might be fun, a Memorial Day ‘Home Alone’ wouldn’t make sense. He added, with a laugh, that he’s become something of an authority on Christmas movies and his opinion on the matter carries weight.
You can watch the classic movie Home Alone tonight on Channel 4 at 5:30 PM. It’s also currently available to stream on Channel 4’s streaming service and Disney+.
