Amanda Bynes marvels over her weight loss progress with ‘inspiring’ photo after dropping 28 pounds on Ozempic

Amanda Bynes recently shared a photo she called ‘inspiring’ as she continues to lose weight with the help of Ozempic.

The actress, 39, recently shared a photo on her Instagram Stories of herself out and about in Los Angeles last week. She’s been showing off her weight loss recently.

She revealed in a post on the image that she used to weigh 180 pounds but has lost 28 pounds with the help of Ozempic.

Amanda Bynes shared an update with her fans, saying she now weighs 152 pounds. She admitted she doesn’t feel thin yet, but she’s motivated by this photo!

During the day trip, the former Nickelodeon star wore a white shirt and ripped jeans.

The She’s The Man actress has been open about her journey to lose weight – which began last year.

In June, Amanda Bynes publicly announced on Instagram that she planned to use Ozempic to help with weight loss.

I’ve started taking Ozempic and I’m really hoping to lose weight. I currently weigh 173 pounds and my goal is to get down to around 130, mostly so I look better in photos taken by the paparazzi.

The Hairspray actress continued by adding, ‘I will post about my Ozempic journey of course.’

Last month in November, the star offered an update after she began using te GLP-1 medication.

Amanda Bynes shared on Instagram that she’s lost 20 pounds and is thrilled with her progress. She’s aiming to lose another 50 pounds.

I currently weigh 163 pounds. I initially gained weight, going from 173 to 180 pounds while taking the Ozempic pill. Then, by switching to the Ozempic injection, I was able to lose twenty pounds and get back down to 163.

She also mentioned the medication is helping her, and she’s continuing to try and lose weight because she wants to feel good about how she looks.

Bynes shared that she’s continuing to use Ozempic and wanted to update her followers on her progress, as she hadn’t posted about it in months.

I really admired Amanda Bynes’ openness last year. She shared her health and weight loss journey with her fans, and it was inspiring to see her keep everyone in the loop.

She shared a screenshot on her Instagram story showing she’d lost six pounds, bringing her current weight down to 154 pounds. She added a shocked face emoji to the post.

Last March, the celebrity shared on social media that she had gained more than 20 pounds in recent months due to depression.

She shared that she’s feeling much better and has started using a technique where she does the opposite of what her feelings tell her when she lacks motivation to exercise or eat healthy. She currently weighs 162 pounds and is aiming to return to her previous weight of 110 pounds.

In a 2018 interview with Paper Magazine, the actress revealed she first became self-conscious about her body after appearing in the 2006 film, She’s The Man.

Seeing the film triggered a period of intense sadness lasting four to six months. It brought up negative feelings about my appearance as a child.

She described getting a short haircut and growing sideburns as a really odd and disorienting experience that left her feeling down for a while.

Her struggles with self-doubt eventually contributed to her substance abuse. Amanda Bynes revealed she initially began using Adderall as a weight loss aid.

The former actor faced several legal issues after leaving show business, including arrests for reckless driving, drug possession, and driving under the influence.

Oh my gosh, it was so hard to watch! Back in 2013, poor Amanda was hospitalized – it was a really scary time. Then, for nine years she was under a conservatorship, which basically meant someone else controlled her life. It finally ended in 2022, and I was just SO relieved she was finally free to make her own choices. I’ve been following her journey closely and just want her to be happy!

And in 2023, she was placed on a 5150 hold and later checked herself into a mental health facility.

Late last month, Amanda Bynes publicly addressed a rumor claiming she became pregnant at age 13 by Dan Schneider, a producer at Nickelodeon.

A TikTok video, originally posted by a fan account called ‘amandabynesupdates,’ quickly spread online with a particular claim. The video has since been removed.

The video showed the celebrity filming a selfie with text overlaid that read, ‘I was 13 when he got me pregnant! [crying emoji]’.

The scene changed to show the actress in a jacuzzi, joined by a fully-clothed actor from her previous show, The Amanda Show.

Bynes quickly denied the rumor on Instagram, explaining that the TikTok video wasn’t posted by her. She also told TMZ it was completely false and created just to attract attention online.
