Influencer Indy Clinton reveals the very generous gift she gives her employees for Christmas: ‘I’m a good boss’

Indy Clinton shared details about the thoughtful Christmas gift she gives her employees, explaining how it contributes to a positive work environment and makes her a well-regarded boss.

The 28-year-old social media personality posted a photo on Instagram Tuesday night showing her wrapping Coles Myer gift cards – a holiday bonus – for her employees.

She shared a photo with a caption announcing that every employee received a gift card for Kmart or Target.

Indy then revealed that one special employee got a gift card to spend at a very unique location.

‘Except Big Ed got one to Liquorland. I’m a good boss,’ she quipped.

She shared that at the yearly Christmas party, she playfully held an awards ceremony to recognize employees’ accomplishments.

Indy jokingly presented the ‘Sore Back, Knee, Shoulder, Hamstring, and Headache Award’ to Big Eddy, calling him ‘the year-round grinch’.

The social media influencer recently shared that she’s adopted a ‘corporate girly’ aesthetic, inspired by her partnership with York St Brands.

She owns part of a beauty and skincare company and often promotes their Bouf haircare products.

Last year, Indy told the Financial Review that she was thrilled to be working in the corporate world, something she hadn’t expected to have the chance to do.

Oh my gosh, Indy announced she’s looking for a new assistant last month, and honestly, whoever gets the job is going to have to really earn it! It’s not going to be easy keeping up with her, that’s for sure! I’d apply myself if I wasn’t already, you know… a devoted follower from afar.

The influencer created a job posting on Seek for a full-time executive assistant. She needs help managing both her work and personal life to stay organized.

Indy shares three children – Navy, four, Bambi, two, and Soul, one – with husband Ben Azar.

‘You will support both the professional and personal aspects of her life,’ the advertisement read.

‘You will help with content production, admin, brand relationships, and logistical organisation.’

The job posting is for an executive assistant, but the required tasks seem to go above and beyond what’s normally expected of that role.

The job posting also mentioned they need someone who is flexible, a self-starter, and believes in their own skills.

You’ll also assist with family needs, like managing kids’ activities and providing occasional help with childcare during work commitments.

This role involves a wide range of executive and personal assistant duties, such as managing daily life for individuals and their families, creating content, handling schedules and emails, coordinating in-person meetings with clients, and arranging travel.

Honestly, just tackling everything on that list would take up almost a full work week for me – nearly 38 hours! And that’s not even the whole story, there’s still more to do.

The ideal candidate will handle Indy’s daily schedule, arrange meetings, and maintain communication with various agencies and brands.

Indy will be accompanied on both domestic and international trips, and they’ll help create and edit videos and other content for her social media.

On top of everything else, the job also involves doing personal errands for Indy, like grocery shopping and picking up packages, and even planning family celebrations like birthday parties.

Applicants should also be able to manage their tasks and commitments, including tracking invoices, meeting deadlines, and balancing work with personal and family responsibilities.

Indy was offering between $35 and $50 per hour for the demanding role.
