If you were into mobile games around 2010-2013, you probably remember Zombie Run. It was one of the many endless running games that became popular after Temple Run, but it was unique enough to get noticed. Now, after being unavailable for a while, Zombie Run has been completely updated and is available again for today’s phones and tablets.
The humour and zombie chaos in Zombie Run remain fully intact
Zombie Run has been completely rebuilt with a new engine, resulting in a smoother, faster, and visually improved experience. We redesigned the core systems from the ground up, so you’ll notice more responsive controls and better performance, especially on modern Android phones.
Okay, so the way the game plays hasn’t changed at all. You’re still just running forward forever, dodging traps, smashing through stuff, and trying to keep up as it gets faster and faster. And it’s still got that same goofy, scary-funny feeling, with those ridiculous zombies and over-the-top animations. Basically, it’s the same fun gameplay I already loved!
Man, Zombie Run holds a special place for me, and for RetroStyle Games too. It was the game that really launched them! Since then, they’ve become a big deal, helping out with everything from art and animation to full game production for some major studios. It’s cool to see how far they’ve come!
While they’ve had hits like Last Pirate, Zombie Run is the game that really launched their success. They still clearly care about it, as RetroStyle Games has put a lot of effort into updating and improving the game for a new experience.
Zombie Run is a really fun and spooky game that’s also surprisingly funny – definitely worth a look! You can download it for both Android and iOS devices from the Google Play Store and App Store.
