This game is a shopping district simulator where you try to get rich fast. You’ll team up with the popular character Officer Ryotsu Kankichi to help a run-down area thrive. You’ll begin by earning some initial funds through games and odd jobs, then gradually build successful businesses with the goal of making a billion yen.
You can enjoy classic humor, meet over 200 iconic characters, try mini-games, and more
What I really appreciate is that this installment still has the same funny tone as the original series. You can expect the usual antics, like the Chief keeping a close watch for anyone goofing off – it’s a classic KochiKame element! I’m also excited to see all the familiar faces at the police box and the hundreds of memorable characters from the manga making appearances as customers.
This game appears to be a great experience for both longtime fans and newcomers, thanks to Kairosoft’s classic management gameplay and charming retro pixel art. Beyond that, players can also enjoy familiar storylines from the series delivered through fun mini-games and story events.
The game KochiKame: Ryo-san’s Billion-yen Beat is coming to Android, iOS, PC, Nintendo Switch (1 and 2), PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox Series. We’ll share the release date soon, so keep an eye out for updates! Plus, fans will be happy to hear that KochiKame: Tokyo Beat Cops is getting an anime series.
