Cruz Beckham is responding to rumors and denying reports about a family disagreement, saying they aren’t true.
Online rumors claimed David and Victoria Beckham, Brooklyn’s parents, had unfollowed him. However, Cruz Beckham clarified the situation, stating the opposite was true. He explained that Brooklyn had actually blocked him and their parents, not the other way around.
In an Instagram story, Cruz Beckham called out the Daily Mail for spreading false information and rumors about his family. He shared a screenshot of their incorrect article, writing: “This isn’t true. My parents would never unfollow me. Here’s what really happened: they woke up to find they were blocked…and so was I.”
The Beckhams have experienced family disagreements before. According to a source who spoke with E! News, tension may have started at Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham’s wedding back in April 2022, following a significant event.
What appeared to cause friction at Brooklyn and Nicola Beckham’s wedding seems to have been a simple misunderstanding. According to reports from E! News, the couple expected Marc Anthony to perform their first dance song. Instead, he unexpectedly invited Victoria Beckham to dance with him, publicly calling her “the most beautiful woman in the room.”
The unexpected moment clearly stunned everyone at the wedding, especially since the groom’s mother isn’t typically the focus during the first dance. Brooklyn was caught off guard and didn’t react, while Nicola became upset and left the room crying. It’s hard to understand how this mix-up occurred, and for many brides, it could have completely ruined what should have been a perfect day.
It’s important to remember that everything discussed is just guesswork. While some sources have suggested this as the reason for a disagreement, it seems improbable. Nicola previously described Victoria and David as wonderful in-laws, and Brooklyn has also dismissed wedding drama rumors, claiming the press exaggerated things to create a negative story and didn’t bother to verify their information.
