I’m A Celeb: Unpacked presenter Kemi Rodgers is engaged! TV star shows off her sparkling ring after proposal in Australia

I’m A Celebrity: Unpacked host Kemi Rodgers has revealed the happy news that she is engaged.

The 30-year-old TV star is getting married to her boyfriend, Thomas Hannett, who proposed to her while they were traveling in Australia.

On Saturday night, she shared a photo of her engagement ring on Instagram, writing ‘I said yes!’ with a ring emoji.

Kemi is popular for her work hosting shows on Capital Radio and for co-hosting the show ‘I’m a Celebrity: Unpacked’.

Jordan North and other colleagues at Capital quickly congratulated her, with North commenting, ‘OMG! Congratulations guys!’

Sian Welby meanwhile said in response: ‘OMGGGG INCREDIBLE.’

Kemi’s recently revealed that her and Thomas have been dating for more than a year.

They went public with their relationship in September this year.

She recently shared with The Mirror that they’re managing a long-distance relationship while she films ‘I’m A Celeb’ in Australia, and she’s really looking forward to seeing him during a planned holiday after the show ends.

‘But the thing is, is we were actually together last year when I did the show.

He didn’t participate at all during the race. While it’s a long-distance event, it’s only been that way for about a month now.

I really feel for people whose partners are often away for work, whether it’s for months at a time or because they live far apart. Thankfully, I haven’t experienced that kind of difficulty myself.

We talked a lot on FaceTime and through messages, and I was so happy to finally see him again! He’s just adorable.

Thomas works as a senior producer for Capital Radio and lives between London and Newcastle, according to his Instagram profile.

He has shared loved up snaps with Kemi on his Instagram as far back as last autumn.

AngryGinge was crowned King Of The Jungle in this year’s I’m A Celeb series.

Ginge, a 24-year-old streamer and YouTuber whose real name is Morgan Birtwistle, was a runner-up alongside Tom Read Wilson.

This year’s ‘I’m A Celebrity’ finale saw a record-breaking 13 million votes – the most in ten years.

Shona McGarty, who previously starred in EastEnders, was the first contestant eliminated from the show. She received 22% of the public’s votes, while Tom received 25% and Ginge won with 53%.

Oh my gosh, you guys, Ginge won! I was seriously on the edge of my seat! It was down to him and Tom from Celebs Go Dating – can you believe it?! – but Ginge totally smashed it with 65% of the votes! I knew he could do it! I’m so proud right now, honestly!

In comparison, runner-up Tom had received 35% of the public’s votes on the second go round.

Honestly, watching Ginge win was incredible! He was so overwhelmed when talking to Ant and Dec, he even joked about not being able to swear! He just kept saying how amazing it felt, and that it was a total dream come true. It was such a lovely moment to witness!

‘I didn’t think I could go all this way never mind win. Thank you to everyone who voted.’

The next morning, he appeared on ITV’s This Morning with Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley to talk about what he did immediately after leaving the camp.

He shared with the hosts that he’d found a delicious full English breakfast waiting for him in his hotel room. He skipped the tomatoes and mushrooms, heading straight for the hash browns and sausages instead.

Some days were really rough – we’d finish work, look forward to dinner, and then the food would be disappointing. I ended up basically living on carbs and vegetables for a whole week.
