AFL WAG Bec Judd suffers mid-air drama aboard flight to Melbourne as her plane hits ‘the worst weather’

I was so bummed to hear that Bec Judd’s flight to Melbourne was seriously delayed! Apparently, the stormy weather really threw things off, and she’s understandably frustrated about it. It’s never fun when travel plans get messed up like that.

A 42-year-old wife of an Australian Rules Football player shared a photo on social media Sunday showing her looking upset during a Qantas flight to Melbourne.

Oh my gosh, she just told us the flight was seriously delayed, and honestly, my heart broke for her! She was so upset, saying her whole Christmas was going to be ruined, and I just needed to tell everyone how awful it was for her. It’s just… Christmas! It has to be perfect for her, you know?

Bec shared that their flight into Melbourne had a rough landing. She described a moment where it felt like they touched down, then didn’t, but thankfully, everything was okay thanks to Qantas’s safety record.

‘Melbourne – always delivering the worst weather – currently circling above the clouds.’

Thankfully, her flight landed safely at Melbourne Airport, and Bec happily shared a video of herself smiling as the plane touched down.

‘Christmas isn’t ruined! Thanks Qantas,’ she wrote next to the footage.

Bec recently showed off her Christmas tree for 2025, and it’s more original than ever before.

Bec, known for her unique Christmas decorations, posted a picture of this year’s tree on Instagram.

The 42-year-old shared a photo of a bare, abstract tree and wrote, ‘We chose white, but the Ruby color really looks great, doesn’t it?’

The expandable, fold-out tree by Neue Blvd is made of paper and retails for a whopping $1,200.

Even though the Christmas tree looked very different from the usual ones, people online loved the paper version and shared lots of positive comments about it.

Someone excitedly commented that the Ruby tree looked amazing and they wanted to check it out, noting they couldn’t see a tag or label on it.

Last year, her hallway was decorated with several pink and silver Christmas trees made of acrylic.

The large pink cutout sold for $1,550. A clear acrylic tree measuring 1.5 metres was priced at $1,250, and a smaller, 80cm tree cost $300.

‘Christmas has arrived at home and I am obsessed,’ Bec wrote at the time.

We’re going to be away for Christmas this year, so I found these trees as a brilliant way to still get that festive feeling at home – we don’t need a full-sized tree for presents when we won’t be there to enjoy it!

Once, when I decorated a Christmas tree in an unconventional way, it became a major news story and received a lot of attention.

‘This year will be interesting,’ she added.

Of course, the tree Bec is hinting at is none other than her 2016 ‘Scandi-style’ display.

I’ll never forget Bec’s incredible creation using found branches! Even though some people back then – it was nine years ago now – called it pale or ‘anaemic-looking,’ nothing anyone has done since has ever impressed me as much. It was truly a standout piece.

Bec used the same phone number for many years, but she changed it after moving into her $7.3 million home in Melbourne.

She lives in a large, beautiful home in a wealthy part of Melbourne with her husband, Chris Judd, who plays Australian Rules Football, and their four children.
