The newest hero, Marcel, is now available on the MLBB Advanced Server with the latest update. He’s the 132nd hero to join Mobile Legends, and he’s a unique Support character. Marcel is special because he’s the first hero in MLBB to have abilities that can stop time. Let’s take a closer look at everything you can expect from Marcel in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

Marcel is a new Support hero who uses a powerful ability called Clemar to temporarily stop and freeze enemies during battles. We’ve been testing him on the Advanced Server and will now share details about his skills.

Abilities

Passive: Platinum Snap

Okay, so Marcel’s pretty interesting. His normal attacks hit really hard, but they can’t crit, which is a bit different. He also heals himself naturally at a good rate, but stacking attack speed on him won’t do anything. Instead of just having a ton of health, some of it actually turns into extra defense – like a 3% boost for every bit of HP he has. It’s a cool way to make him extra tanky!

Clemar instantly takes pictures of nearby enemy heroes, briefly stunning them and dealing damage based on their maximum health. Marcel then gains a shield equal to the damage dealt, and one nearby ally can also receive this shield. This ability has an 8-second cooldown per enemy hero, but Marcel’s attacks reduce it by 0.5 seconds.

First Skill: Framed Moment

Clemar targets Marcel’s vicinity. Shortly after, he fires, inflicting physical damage and briefly stunning nearby enemies for one second.

Second Skill: Tracking Shot

Marcel briefly enters a state called Tracking Haste, which gives him a 15% boost to movement speed. This speed increase jumps to 75% when he’s moving towards an enemy hero.

Marcel quickly moves towards his target, creating a temporary afterimage. When Framed Moment is active, Clemar stays put in his original spot.

Third Skill – Golden Hour

Okay, so here’s how this part goes down. After a quick pause, Clemar sets up a wide shot of the zone for three seconds. While that’s happening, Marcel activates this speed boost called ‘Tracking Haste’ inside the area. Everyone else basically freezes – they’re put on hold, can’t move, and can’t take damage from anyone except Marcel. It’s like a temporary lockdown where only Marcel can act!

All attacks and projectiles that travel a distance are put on hold, and when the effect ends, they deal half damage. The ability Golden Hour resets the cooldown of Platinum Snap for all opponents.

Marcel is a strong Support hero who introduces unique abilities and crowd control to matches. Let’s take a closer look at how his skills work.

Marcel’s passive ability does more than just improve his attacks, health recovery, and defenses. It also briefly stops enemies when he touches them, making him excellent at controlling battles and disrupting the opposing team – all without even using his special skills.

When you look at Marcel’s abilities, you’ll see his first one essentially adds another way to stun or disable enemies. His second ability significantly boosts his movement speed, creating more chances for him to set up stuns with his other ability.

Let’s take a look at Marcel’s powerful ultimate ability. His ultimate creates an area around him that puts everything inside it into Stasis. While in Stasis, heroes are frozen and can only be damaged by Marcel. Even ranged attacks heading towards the area will be frozen mid-air until the ultimate’s effect ends.

Basically, if you use abilities like Beatrix’s Bennett Ultimate, Xavier’s Ultimate, Aldous’s Ultimate, or Bane’s Ultimate while they’re aimed at the area created by Marcel’s Ultimate, they will be stopped instantly. To show just how strong Marcel’s Ultimate is, we’ve tested it and want to share what we found. Here are some examples:

Freezing Minions/Turtle/Lord via his Ult
Freezing Turret/Base
Freezing all Allies and Enemies within that zone.
Purify skills and Purify abilities like Diggie’s Ult can’t help you within the zone.

How could Marcel hold up against the current meta

Marcel’s most defining feature is his ultimate ability. It’s a risky move – while it can greatly benefit your team, it also has the potential to backfire. For example, you could accidentally disable your own damage dealer, leaving your allies vulnerable to enemy attacks.

Marcel’s powerful ultimate ability can give your teammates valuable time to re-enter a fight. When he’s first released, he’ll likely be banned often because his ultimate is very difficult to counter.

When will Marcel release in the MLBB Original Server

So, I’ve been checking out the new hero Marcel on the advanced server, and things are looking good! The developers are aiming to release him in the next three months, which means we should be able to play as him around March 2026. I’m really excited!
