Influencer Lorna Luxe, 43, reveals her husband John, 64, has been rushed back to hospital as she shares health update amid his stage 4 cancer battle

Lorna Luxe shared some difficult news with her fans on Friday, revealing her husband, John Andrews, has been readmitted to the hospital. She described the situation as emotionally challenging.

The 43-year-old influencer has publicly shared updates on her partner John’s fight against advanced adrenal cancer.

Last month she shared how the 64-year-old had undergone surgery to remove a tumour on his brain.

Lora recently shared some very sad news: John was unexpectedly hospitalized again this week because his chemotherapy treatment led to organ failure.

She shared that her partner was back in the hospital, and while they’re trying to stay positive, the last few days have been difficult.

A side effect of his chemotherapy caused his organs to fail, and two days ago, doctors in the intensive care unit were preparing me for the possibility he wouldn’t make it. But John is a remarkably strong patient, and he’s been steadily getting better against all expectations.

It’s difficult finding the right approach. I want to be considerate of his privacy, but also truthful about what’s happening.

He’s been gently scolding me for not posting lately, and even asked me today why I hadn’t shared anything new. So, I’m posting this as much for him as I am for everyone else.

She finished by saying how thankful they both are for all the supportive messages and kindness – and the laughs! – everyone has shared. She said she wouldn’t have made it through the year without the support of the community they’ve created together, which has become a real lifeline for her. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude.

People sent Lorna lots of encouraging messages and well-wishes for John, with one fan writing, ‘Keep up the great work, both of you!’

John left his job at HSBC to support his wife, Lorna, in growing her business and now often appears in her online content. Lorna has been sharing updates about his health with her followers.

Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE what John went through! Back in April of 2023, he got the news – stage three cancer. It was awful! He was so brave though, and started chemo right away. Thankfully, after a year of fighting, in 2024 he went into remission! I was so relieved, honestly, I almost cried. He’s such an inspiration!

In May 2024, Lorna shared the difficult news that John’s cancer had reappeared, spreading to both his brain and adrenal gland.

The influencer shared that openly documenting her partner John’s illness has been a helpful way for her to deal with it, and kind messages from her followers have given her exactly the support she needed during tough moments.

When things get tough, it’s comforting to have support from others,” Lorna said. “I don’t have any siblings, and I don’t have a large family.

While John was in the hospital, I’d come home late, have a glass of wine, and spend the evening responding to messages. They were incredibly supportive and exactly what I needed during a difficult time.
