Oh my goodness, you guys, Katya Jones from Strictly and her amazing friend Aimee Fuller are on the cover of Women’s Fitness UK! And they look incredible! Seriously, their bodies are goals – totally ripped and strong. I’ve been following Katya forever, and seeing her on the cover like that just makes my day! They both look absolutely fantastic.
The professional dancer, age 36, and Olympic snowboarder Aimee, 34, became a couple in 2021 and have been together ever since.
The fitness fanatics spoke about the importance of their friendship and shared love of exercise.
Katya and Aimee described their weekend routine, which includes swimming in the River Thames, practicing hot yoga, and playing Padel.
Aimee explained that through shared new experiences and training together, they’ve both learned a lot and become closer as friends. These experiences have helped them grow as individuals and strengthened their bond.
Aimee shared her excitement about being on the cover of Women’s Fitness, saying it was a celebration of friendships that help us grow and become our best selves.

Everyone has tough days when it’s hard to feel their best. By supporting a friend, you actually help yourself too! Make sure to spend time with people who are positive and encouraging – they’ll lift your spirits and help you feel good.
Wishing you all the best for 2026 – may it be filled with genuine happiness, meaningful connections, hard work, and becoming your best self!
The pair slipped on their boxing gloves and posed in matching black and white gym wear.
Viewers were shocked and angry when Katya and her partner Lewis Cope were eliminated from the competition. Many called it a huge mistake, especially since they were considered frontrunners and consistently scored the highest throughout most of the season.
As a lifestyle observer, I’ve been following the drama on ‘It Takes Two,’ and last week, Katya really opened up. She confessed she’d been beating herself up over her and Lewis’s elimination – she felt responsible after losing that dance-off to Amber and Nikita. It’s so relatable to see even professionals grappling with self-blame after a competition!
Through tears, she admitted that in hindsight, she wished she had handled things differently to improve the situation for him. She realized he was only capable of doing what she’d asked, and he hadn’t followed through this time.
He always did that. We faced a lot of pressure to perform flawlessly every Saturday, and you consistently delivered. I honestly don’t know how you managed it, but you always did.
Lewis put an arm around her as he sweetly insisted: ‘Because of you!’

Even though Lewis and Amber both scored highly during Musicals week, they had to perform again to secure a spot in the semi-finals.
Amber and Nikita, earning a score of 40, danced the Charleston to “Sit Down You’re Rockin’ The Boat” from the musical Guys and Dolls. They were followed by Lewis and Katya, who performed a Salsa to “Dance at the Gym” from West Side Story.
Judge Shirley Ballas was stunned by the dance-off, saying she was lost for words. She reminded the dancers that they were competing for a spot in the semi-final and expressed her admiration for all of them, wishing the best dancer success.
Oh my gosh, I was on the edge of my seat! It all came down to Motsi, honestly. Everyone else wanted to save Amber, which, okay, fair enough, but I was praying Motsi would see what I saw – Nikita deserves to be in the semi-final! And she DID! Motsi used her casting vote to save them both, and I nearly screamed! It was the right decision, absolutely the right decision, and I’m so glad Motsi understood!
Viewers were upset with the outcome of the dance competition, believing Lewis should have won the championship.
They wrote on X: ‘I’m so heart broken for Katya, I really thought she’d win it this year’;
I’m so upset that Lewis and Katya won’t be dancing together anymore. It’s really heartbreaking. I also feel like the results weren’t right – Lewis deserved to be in the final. It’s a real shame it ended this way.
