MIBR officially unveils 2026 roster with three key additions

Okay, so MIBR is going all-in with a brand new team for 2026, and they’re seriously hoping to finally win a major international championship for Brazil. The question is, can these guys actually pull it off? I’m really curious to see what they can do!

MIBR is entering a new era with an exciting lineup for the 2026 season! They’ve signed three incredible players, and we’re thrilled to introduce them.

aspas re-signs until 2027

Most players prefer one-year contracts, keeping their options open if the team doesn’t perform well. But Erick “aspas” Santos is deeply committed to MIBR and has signed a long-term deal, staying with the team through 2027.

Andrew “Verno” Maust will also continue playing with the team in 2026. He signed with MIBR in March 2025 after being removed from the active roster of NRG. As the team’s youngest player, he also serves as their in-game leader.

MIBR’s esports director, Carla Sernaglia, told The Spike BR that their recent investment in VALORANT is the biggest the organization has ever made.

zekken, Mazino, and tex join MIBR in 2026

MIBR’s team for 2026 will feature three new players. Among the most talked-about additions is Zachary “zekken” Patrone, who had been rumored to join after leaving Sentinels. He previously won the VALORANT Masters Madrid in 2024, playing alongside Gustavo “Sacy” Ross, who now creates content for MIBR.

Joining zekken on the team next year are Ian “tex” Botsch and Roberto “Mazino” Rivas. Both players previously played with aspas on Leavitán, and together they won VCT Americas: Stage 2. A key goal for the team in 2026 will be getting tex and Mazino their first experience competing on an international stage. Coach Daniel “fRoD” Montaner will continue to lead the team for another year.
