My Kitchen Rules star Ash Pollard shocks fans as her daughters cradle her tummy: ‘Look at the tiny baby’

Ash Pollard has sent fans into a frenzy with a confusing Instagram post. 

The 39-year-old star of My Kitchen Rules posted a brief video on Instagram Friday, revealing her midriff.

In the video, four-year-old Clementine is seen gently patting her mother’s belly while her mother, Ash, relaxes on the couch.

While checking Ash’s stomach, Clementine happily announced that a new sibling was on the way.

‘We’re going to have a new baby when we’re going to the beach,’ the adorable toddler said.

Clementine’s sister Claudette, three, then entered the frame, gently touching Ash’s midsection.

‘Look at the tiny baby,’ she said.

It was all a storm in a teacup, however, with Ash bursting her daughters’ bubbles in the comments.

She revealed that she was not pregnant, but rather ate too much ice cream.

‘Hate to tell you, that’s not why my trousers don’t do up,’ Ash wrote. 

‘No baby in there. Just ice cream.’ 

Most of Ash’s fans didn’t notice the joke, but quickly sent their congratulations about her upcoming baby.

Anna Heinrich, known from The Bachelorette, was quick to offer her congratulations, posting ‘CONGRATULATIONS’ along with several heart and clapping hand emojis.

Someone commented saying they were really surprised to see us still going strong, especially after watching us navigate having two babies so close in age. They were happy for us, but admitted they’d expected us to take a step back!

A third summed up the sentiment of many with: ‘Amazing news! Two big sisters are the best helpers.’

Ash insisted it was simply a ‘food baby’ – meaning she’d just eaten a lot – and doubled down on that explanation regarding what she was showing in the video.

‘NO!!! I’M NOT PREGGAS,’ she exclaimed.

People are jokingly saying I look pregnant because I’ve gained weight – I’ve just been eating a lot of ice cream and can’t button my pants!

Even after learning Ash’s secret, one fan still complimented her appetite with a simple ‘congrats, though’.

In an interview with the Daily Mail in July, she said they probably wouldn’t have a third child.

‘I’m chopping out, mate,’ she said matter-of-factly.

If I had Kardashian-level wealth, I’d definitely hire people to take care of all the tedious chores, like laundry and cooking.

‘If I could afford a personal chef I would probably have another kid, but then I don’t know. 

Ash explained that going through adolescence is incredibly difficult because of hormonal shifts and brain development. It’s a uniquely challenging time that’s hard to navigate.

‘I still think that even any amount of cash can’t help you in that situation, right?’
