Hunted Cow Games is creating Fallen Sword II, a new online adventure game for Android, iOS, and PC. Expected to launch in the third quarter of 2026, this game continues the story of the popular retro browser game, Fallen Sword, which has been enjoyed by players for years. It’s currently under development and aims to capture the spirit of the original while offering a modern, cross-platform experience.
Get ready to dive back to Erildath and face the ancient evil to save the world
It’s hard to say if Fallen Sword II will be as popular as the first game, which was a huge hit and still has a dedicated following. It was a special time for browser games, and I remember being completely hooked. I’m really excited to revisit the world of Erildath and see what’s changed.
Get ready for a new generation of heroes! We’re excited to announce that Fallen Sword II, a brand new adventure based on our beloved RPG, is currently in development and scheduled to launch in the third quarter of 2026. Add it to your Steam wishlist today!

Okay, so basically, the gods picked me to be the hero and fight off this spreading darkness. My main job is to re-seal this ancient evil called Imaar back into its prison in the Withered Land. It’s tough because the pieces of the sword I need to do it are lost somewhere in the Sea of Souls, but I have to break this endless cycle and save the world, no matter what!
You can summon powerful entities, join guilds, and conquer both Gauntlets and large-scale battles
The game features exciting, quick-turn combat. Instead of just reading about battles, you’ll be able to visually cast spells like fireballs and blizzards, and use elemental weapons to take advantage of enemy weaknesses. It also sounds like a lot of fun to summon allies and fight through challenging levels filled with bosses and treasure.
I have high hopes for this game, especially since the original from 2006 was so well-received. It looks fantastic, offering six different character classes, a wide variety of weapons and armor, a crafting system, guilds, massive battles, and improved graphics over the first game.
The highly anticipated game, Fallen Sword II, is scheduled to release on Android, iOS, and PC in the third quarter of 2026. Pre-registration is now available on the Google Play Store and App Store. Keep an eye out for further announcements regarding the specific launch date!
