With the recent Cloudrise Patch Update in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, MOONTON Games has announced changes to the Magic Wheel and is giving away free rewards to all players. Starting December 18th, players will receive free Magic Wheel Potions and Diamonds in exchange for their existing Legend Skin Trial Effects. Here’s a closer look at this update and what it means for you.

Legend Skin Trail Effects Compensation Update: How to get Magic Wheel Potions and at least 500 Diamonds for Free

The Magic Wheel Shop is getting a complete makeover on January 1st, 2026, and will launch with the updated Legend skin for Saber. This means you’ll need to wait until the new Magic Wheel Shop is released in January to get it. Plus, all Legend Skin Trail Effects will be available for free with the update!

That brings us to the question of what will happen with the Trail Effects players already have. The developers will be giving us free rewards as compensation, and here’s how you can earn them:

  • You must Own a Legend Skin Trail Effect. Be it for the Magic Wheel Exclusive Legend skins or for the Limited-time Event Legend skins.
  • For players who redeemed Legend skin Trail Effects via the Magic Wheel, they will be compensated with 15 Magic Wheel Potions for each Owned Trail Effect.
  • For players who redeemed Legend skin Trail Effects via limited-time event Draws, they will be compensated with 500 Diamonds for each Owned Trail Effect.

Beyond the usual rewards, we’re adding extras for Legend Skins! Starting today, Granger and Lesley’s Legend skins will each receive a free exclusive Trail Effect and Custom Action. Guinevere’s Legend skin will also get a free Trail Effect, as she already has a Custom Action.

How to Claim the Free Rewards

Getting your rewards for the Legend Skin Trail Effect is easy! You just need these three things:

  • Meet the Reward Criterias, that is you must own Legend Skin Trail Effects beforehand.
  • Log in to the Game and navigate to the Inbox tab on the upper-right section of the Main UI.
  • Then claim your free rewards in the Legend Skin Trail Effects Compensation Letter.
