Holly Ramsay skips fiancé Adam Peaty’s mum’s 60th birthday for a lavish trip to Lapland ahead of their wedding as family feud rumbles on

Holly Ramsay didn’t attend her fiancé Adam Peaty’s mother’s 60th birthday party on Thursday, choosing to take a luxurious trip to Lapland instead, as tensions continue within their families.

Gordon Ramsay’s 25-year-old daughter is set to marry the 30-year-old Olympic athlete on December 27th. The wedding will be held at Bath Abbey, and the reception will take place at Kiln House, a country estate in Wiltshire.

Adam’s mother, Caroline, is no longer allowed to use the service after a public and escalating dispute that started in November when she wasn’t invited to her future daughter-in-law’s bachelorette party.

The Peaty family celebrated the birthday in the UK, while Holly shared a series of snowy Instagram photos, looking chic in a red ski suit.

Holly looked stunning in the outfit, which she accessorized with a belt to highlight her waist, large sunglasses, and white boots.

Standing in the frigid snow, she posed with a beautiful winter landscape behind her and shared the caption ‘Winter Wonderland’.

Caroline announced on Instagram Thursday that she was celebrating her 60th birthday, and shared several heartfelt messages from her family.

Interestingly, a birthday message from Peaty himself wasn’t among the cards, even though a card from ‘the Peaty family’ addressed to ‘mom’ was present, implying he hasn’t personally acknowledged her birthday yet.

Another heartfelt message from the Peaty family wished her a happy 60th birthday, calling her one of the strongest women they know and thanking her for all she’s done for them and their sons.

I’m so thankful for your support through everything over the past 18 years. You’ve always been there for me, and now it’s time for you to relax and enjoy your day!

Caroline’s aunt Janet and uncle Eddie created a photo collage celebrating her life, with a caption that read: ‘It feels like just yesterday you were born, Caroline! You were a wonderful Christmas gift and made me an aunt for the very first time.’

‘Many happy returns of the day, happy 60th birthday to you.’

Caroline shared on Instagram on Monday that the past year has been incredibly challenging, but she’s determined to have a better year ahead.

This year was incredibly challenging, and I faced parts of myself that felt completely shattered. But through it all, I also discovered a surprising inner strength. I’m determined to grow even more in 2026 and come back better than before.

Her heartfelt post appeared around the same time her son, with whom she’s not close, shared photos of himself looking fit and posing without a shirt with a woman named Holly.

He shared the photos with a caption expressing his disbelief that their wedding is less than two weeks away and wondering where the time has gone. He jokingly added that this was the only picture they’d taken together recently.

Commenting on the post, shared by Peaty on Sunday evening, Holly wrote: ‘Such a poser.’

Caroline is reportedly asking Netflix to take her out of Gordon Ramsay’s new documentary. She doesn’t want the streaming service profiting from her difficult experiences.

Caroline and her husband, Mark, have sent a legal notice, called a ‘cease and desist’ letter, to the streaming service that will be showing the celebrity chef’s new series next year, according to a source. The letter was delivered with proof of receipt.

According to a source, Caroline doesn’t want Gordon or his family – including her son, Adam – to benefit financially from their relationship.

‘Enough damage has already been done which has been devastating for them.’

I was really surprised to hear that Adam Peaty’s mum, Caroline, is saying they weren’t asked for permission to be filmed at his engagement party with Holly Ramsay. Apparently, she’s reached out to Netflix about it, but they haven’t gotten back to them yet. It’s a shame, and I hope it gets resolved quickly!

The event was filmed by Gordon Ramsay’s production team and will be featured in an upcoming episode of his show, Being Gordon Ramsay.

Oh my god, I just heard from a really reliable source – someone on Gordon Ramsay’s team totally spilled the beans! Apparently, Caroline actually reached out to Netflix through his production company. Can you believe it? It’s like, everything is connected! I’m dying to know what she wrote, and how this all went down… it’s HUGE!

Why are they creating trouble just to advertise their film, and why should they profit from someone else’s hardship?

‘They are using the family fallout as a selling point. It is disgraceful.’

The upcoming series with the famously outspoken chef is expected to heavily focus on his recent, very public disagreement with his mother, including his and his fiancée Holly’s decision to exclude her from their wedding this month. Sources say the chef is particularly enthusiastic about sharing this story.

According to a source, Caroline stated that the family wasn’t asked for permission to be filmed during Gordon’s documentary at their engagement party last year.

‘She was very clear that, after everything that’s happened, they do not want to be featured.

Cameras captured her delivering a speech, and also filmed her family as they arrived and interacted with guests at the party.

A representative for the Ramsay family confirmed to the Daily Mail that Adam’s family was present at the engagement party and knew it was being recorded.

Attendees were informed that the event was being filmed. Notices posted throughout the party stated that simply by attending, guests agreed to be filmed.

Because these individuals weren’t interviewed, didn’t appear on camera, and weren’t included in the final program, their consent wasn’t needed.
