Alan Carr recently discussed his well-known disagreement with Paloma Faith, which began while they were both contestants on the show Celebrity Traitors.
Comedian Alan Carr, 49, discussed a famous incident from his past on Olivia Attwood’s podcast. He talked about a playful fight that started after he jokingly pretended to ‘kill’ a friend on a TV show.
During a conversation with the Love Island contestant, alongside comedian Lee Peart, he explained that he and Paloma didn’t have a major disagreement, but she was upset, and he understood why. He added that they both had valid points, and the good thing was…
We used to just be acquaintances in the entertainment industry, but ever since we both publicly came out, we’ve been talking on the phone constantly. Seeing the end of something, and feeling so upset about it, really made me reflect on myself.
After I killed her and placed a lily with her, I felt a strange sense of relief. I went downstairs, and when she came down for breakfast, I realized my attempt hadn’t been successful. Just thirty minutes later, we were preparing her body for burial.

Lee added that people ‘forget it’s for charity’.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen a lot of entertainment trends, but this show really grabbed me! Honestly, picture this: a gorgeous castle packed with famous faces, and then… they start disappearing, one by one. It’s utterly captivating!
He admitted to enjoying deception while on the show, but insisted he isn’t a liar. He explained that when his agent called with the opportunity, he was thrilled because he’s a huge fan of murder mystery stories, particularly those by Agatha Christie and featuring characters like Poirot and Jessica Fletcher.
I felt like I was living out a fantasy I had as a teenager – being trapped in a castle with famous people who were mysteriously being killed off, one after another.
I doubt I’ll ever be part of something as culturally significant or famous again. Even if I was being difficult, people would recognize me and ask about it. I just don’t think I’ll be involved in anything that popular ever again.
Paloma was reportedly very upset after being the first celebrity eliminated – and ‘murdered’ – on the latest season of Celebrity Traitors.
On Thursday’s episode of the popular BBC game show, the 44-year-old singer’s journey ended when her coffin was sealed shut during a challenging task, leading to her removal from the competition.

Although the show was exciting to watch, people close to the star say they were much more stressed behind the scenes.
A source told The Mirror: ‘She threw a wobbly afterwards about being the first to go.
Most players don’t seem to care when they’re eliminated, but Paloma was furious to learn she’d been betrayed. She struggled to understand what went wrong, and discovering the truth only deepened her hurt.
Paloma is very expressive and doesn’t hide her feelings, so she was understandably upset about being the first to leave.
Even after being killed, Paloma described the experience as a mix of highs and lows, and confessed it was stressful knowing her vibrant personality had made her a target.
She explained that she’s not the type to stay quiet or hide her emotions. She naturally expresses how she feels about people by talking openly, so staying silent was never something she could do.

She jokingly admitted her performance wasn’t the best, but added that her approach works well in everyday situations.
She joked that she would have been a convincing villain, then playfully lamented not being cast in the role because she would have looked fantastic in the costume’s cloak.
Paloma said she’s hoping for a winner who is both kind and plays a smart game, mentioning Nick Mohammed as someone who fits that description.
Honestly, when I discovered who was behind what happened, my first thought wasn’t sadness – it was relief. I realized I didn’t need those people in my life anymore, and I was perfectly okay with losing them as friends. It felt… freeing, actually.
As someone who studies social dynamics, I’ve been following the recent buzz around ‘The Traitors,’ and honestly, I was a little taken aback by one particular interaction. My friend Alan made a move that, looking back, I just don’t think was very fair. I truly believe I wouldn’t have done the same thing if the roles were reversed. It surprised me that he would act that way towards me, and I still feel that way today.
