Sports Illustrated Swimsuit vet Christen Harper Goff snuggles up to puppies for a good cause

Model Christen Harper Goff, known for her appearances in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, recently spent time cuddling puppies to support a charity.

Jared Goff’s wife hosted a special tailgate party in Detroit to celebrate the new Maytag Pet Pro washing machine and support pet adoption with Michigan Humane.

The beauty posed with the pups and the machines in images she shared to Daily Mail.

Oh my gosh, you guys, I just witnessed magic! I was at this amazing event with Michigan Humane, and the Maytag Pet Pro Top Load System? Seriously, it’s a total game-changer when it comes to cleaning up after adorable, but messy, puppies! I got to see it in action today, and let me tell you, it’s incredible. And the best part? Kate Harper is a model and actress who was recognized as a co-Rookie of the Year by Sports Illustrated Swimsuit in 2022.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! Hunter Harper totally killed it and won Sports Illustrated’s Swim Search back in 2021, sharing the win with Katie Austin. But that’s not even the best part! Since she first appeared in the magazine, she’s been in every single issue! Seriously, every one. I collect them all, and she’s always there. It’s amazing!

She’s also worked with brands like L’Oréal Paris, Sephora, and Abercrombie.

I’m a big fan of Harper, and I especially loved her work on the web series Women of the League. It’s a really insightful show that does a great job of breaking down the often-unfair expectations placed on NFL wives – it’s not what you might expect!

Her spouse has inked an extension to stay in Detroit until 2028.

Seriously, I’m buzzing! Seeing Jared and Christen in front of the Lions logo just made my week! He said he’s so grateful for all the love he’s gotten, and honestly, we’re all just SO excited he’s staying with the team! Detroit loves him, and we’re ready to go – Let’s Go Lions! In a Sports Illustrated interview reflecting on how their relationship began, Christen shared that she and her partner were simply casually dating at the time, three years prior.

Honestly, I wasn’t even trying to meet anyone back then. She told me in September 2022 that she’d just gotten out of a really long relationship and was determined to be single for a whole year. But then she met Jared, and as she put it, that was all it took! It was instant, and they’ve been together ever since.

The couple made their red-carpet debut at the 2019 EPSYS.

That same year, Christen also publicly wished Jared a happy birthday on Instagram.

Four years ago, when Jared Goff and Matthew Stafford first met as opponents, Goff was traded from the Los Angeles Rams to the Detroit Lions in 2021. As part of the deal, the Lions also received the Rams’ first-round draft picks in 2022 and 2023, plus a third-round pick in 2021.

In retrospect, the trade benefited both teams. Jared Goff guided the Lions to their first playoff victory in over three decades, and Matthew Stafford finally won a Super Bowl with the Rams.

Despite this, Christen frequently had to travel back and forth between California, where she lives and often works as a model, and Michigan.

She recently posted some photos on Instagram showing what life has been like since her boyfriend moved to Detroit for football. It’s been several months since he relocated to continue playing in the NFL.

In June 2022, the couple got engaged while on vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Christen celebrated her upcoming wedding with a bachelorette party there in April.

The couple plans to get married in California this summer. Jared, just like Christen, is originally from California.

Christen, who also works as an actress, brought Jared as her date to a wedding in 2020.

Jared often accompanies his fiancée to events related to Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, publicly showing his support for her.

Jared and Christen joined Olivia Dunne, Paige Spiranac, and Brittany Mahomes at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue launch party in New York City in May 2024.
