Popular food blogger ‘Cooking With Tubz‘ has gained a large following, including well-known personality AngryGinge, by documenting his weight loss progress using the drug Mounjaro on social media.
Marc Almond, a popular foodie known online, has gained a following of 394,000 on Instagram and TikTok. His fans include reality TV star AngryGinge, who won ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’
Marc enjoys cooking and regularly posts pictures of his meals, including the complimentary roast dinners he receives when he plays bingo. He’s also lost a significant amount of weight – 2.5 stone – in just two months.
He recently shared an update with his followers on Instagram, announcing he’s lost six pounds during his latest weekly weigh-in.
I weighed myself in week ten and gained three pounds last week, which I anticipated since I hadn’t been eating very well – it was my own doing.

I had a fantastic week sticking to my plan! I’m really hoping to see a three-pound loss when I weigh myself, and honestly, I’m crossing my fingers for even more!
I’ve lost six pounds, which is fantastic! It’s great to see I can achieve my goals, even though there will be good days and bad days – that’s just how weight loss works. And to anyone being critical, remember that nobody is perfect.
It’s normal to not lose weight every week – life happens! There will be times when you make progress, stay the same, and sometimes even gain weight. But overall, I’m really happy with how things are going and feeling great.
Marc undid all the progress he’d made the previous week. He’d treated himself to a large three-course meal, followed by a bacon, sausage, and egg bap with crisps and Maltesers.
He also eats healthy, low-calorie foods like chicken and eggs to stay on track with his weight loss goals.
He’s explained to those who criticize his approach that losing weight comes down to eating smaller portions. He believes he can still enjoy his favorite foods as long as he consumes fewer calories than he burns.
He also pointed out that because of his size, he can eat a larger quantity of food and still lose weight, confidently stating he understands his own body and diet.
He posted a picture of a kebab he was sharing with friends and wrote, ‘People underestimate how effective Mounjaro is.’
I only had a small portion of the kebab, but it was still good. I mostly ate the chicken, as you can see.

I’m happy I can still enjoy a small weekly indulgence instead of constantly eating unhealthy foods like I did before. It feels like a real accomplishment!
Even though Marc works hard and is determined to achieve his goals, he still faces criticism online about the food he eats.
The popular social media personality responded to criticism they received for simply enjoying an egg sandwich on white bread.
He expressed strong disapproval of being spoken to disrespectfully, stating he wouldn’t tolerate being treated as if he were worthless.
It’s frustrating to be criticized, especially after just enjoying a meal. Perhaps before offering feedback, it would be helpful to understand the basics of calorie deficits and how they contribute to progress.
I don’t appreciate being spoken to disrespectfully by people I consider Instagram friends. If you act that way towards me, I will tell you to go away and then block you.
