Paper Rex has officially announced invy as their new player, taking PatMen’s spot on the team. They also used the announcement to criticize people who leak information about VALORANT esports.
Paper Rex has signed Adrian “invy” Reyes to replace Patrick “PatMen” Mendoza. The team also criticized VALORANT esports leakers in their announcement, explaining how leaks complicated the process of bringing invy on board.
Paper Rex invy
Invy is joining the team, replacing PatMen, who recently left. Both players are from the Philippines and Invy comes from Team Secret.
PatMen is an Initiator player, which represents a shift back to his strengths for invy. While he recently focused on playing Duelists with Team Secret, he’s historically been much more successful and experienced as an Initiator.
With VALORANT’s competitive scene continuing to grow, Paper Rex is making changes to stay ahead. According to Harley “dsn” Örvall, the team’s Chief Gaming Officer, they’ve added experienced player invy to boost their attacking power after a lot of hard work and preparation during the offseason. They believe this will help them reach their goals in the increasingly competitive VCT circuit.
As of right now, PRX has faced off against invy twice in the VALORANT Radiant International Invitational, and he used the agent Fade in both matches.
With invy’s signing, the Paper Rex VALORANT roster for VCT Pacific 2026 is:
- Khalish “d4v41” Rusyaidee
- Jason “f0rsakeN” Susanto
- Ilia “something” Petrov
- Wang “Jinggg” Jing Jie
- Adrian “invy” Jiggs Reyes
- Alexandre “alecks” Sallé (Head Coach)
- Laijhun “Panda” Cheng (Performance Coach)
- Ashton “Wendler” Wendler (Assistant Coach)
- Kumeresan “Tommy” Ramani (Team Manager)
PRX vs VALORANT leakers
The announcement image appears straightforward, but the strange paragraph at the bottom actually contains a playful secret.
Reading the first letter of every word, it reads out [CERTAIN LEAKERS NEARLY RUINED THIS DEAL].
So, it was kinda weird – everyone already knew PatMen was leaving and that invy would be taking over weeks before the official announcement even dropped. It felt like the news had leaked, you know?
So, this one leaker I follow chimed in, and it sounds like they were really careful about what they shared. They said they only posted about the deal once they were absolutely sure both sides had verbally agreed and everyone was happy with the terms. They’re now wondering if their reporting actually messed things up, or if the company was just being difficult all along.
People had mixed reactions to the sudden anger from him and PRX towards those leaking information. Some agreed with the organization’s stance, pointing out that leaks could harm negotiations and player signings, just like in traditional sports. Others criticized the organization for not being better at keeping information confidential.
