Call the Midwife’s highly-anticipated season 15 gets release date confirmed with returning character

Fans of Call the Midwife will be happy to hear the new season is coming soon! After the holiday specials air, the show will return in the new year, continuing its annual tradition.

Season 15 of the show will premiere on BBC One on Sunday, January 11th at 8pm. You can also watch it on BBC iPlayer.

I’m so excited! They’re bringing back Andrew Trottwood – Teddy Berriman! – in the next few episodes, and as a fan, that’s huge news! I always loved that character.

The movie will follow some beloved characters on an international adventure, and the prequel will explore the early days of the midwives in Poplar during World War II.

In a recent interview with RadioTimes.com, Call the Midwife star Stephen McGann hinted at significant changes coming to the show. He explained that viewers have already seen hints of these changes with new characters and subtle suggestions of things to come. According to McGann, these changes will soon become very apparent and have a real impact on the series.

Before those, we have two Christmas episodes planned, featuring a trip to Hong Kong for some of the characters. However, viewers should be warned that several characters will die.
