Sources close to Helen Flanagan have shared the reason she was reportedly upset with her ex-partner, Scott Sinclair, and why she publicly criticized him online.
People familiar with the situation say they understand why Helen publicly criticized her former partner, whom she has blocked and is now only communicating with through family members.
Helen publicly criticized a Bristol Rovers soccer player on Instagram earlier this week, calling him offensive names after he traveled to Abu Dhabi and didn’t attend their son’s nativity play.
After 13 years together, the couple separated in 2022. They have three children: Matilda, age ten; Delilah, age seven; and four-year-old Charlie.
A source close to Scott Disick says he’s enjoying being single and focusing on himself after ending his relationship with Lauren Davies, 32.
While Scott has been enjoying events like the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Helen has been busy juggling a full-time job performing in a pantomime with her family responsibilities.
To make things even harder for Helen, Scott is scheduled to have their three children for Christmas this year, which has reportedly angered her because he seems to only spend time with them when it suits him.
According to a source, things began to worsen for Helen after Scott became single. She’s been working incredibly hard lately, but feels Scott doesn’t understand the pressure she’s under.
‘To make matters worse he is having the children for Christmas this year, which is another blow.’
Another source said Helen is furious with how Scott is acting. He seems to be prioritizing his own needs and not considering his children. Ultimately, Helen is their mother, and he should be more respectful of that.
According to another source, since his breakup with Lauren, Scott has been distant from his children and frequently flaunts his money on social media.
Helen apparently had a good relationship with Lauren and wanted everyone to get along. However, since they broke up, things have become strained – Helen and Scott are no longer speaking directly and are communicating only through their families.

After the recent difficulties, Helen posted a heartwarming picture on Instagram Wednesday evening. It showed her with her three children, who came to support her at her pantomime performance.
She wrote: ‘My [world emoji], My three [heart emoji]’
The actress also posted some photos from the set, showing her as The Wicked Queen from Snow White & The Seven Dwarves.
She recently performed at the M&S Bank Arena, looking stunning in her Wicked Queen costume as she posed for photos with Snow White.
She wrote: ‘Oh you know just being a queen❤️Having a ball! Come see us’.
Helen appeared unhappy as she arrived at a pantomime show in Liverpool on Wednesday, just a day after publicly criticizing her former partner, Scott.
The actress, known for her role on Coronation Street, looked relaxed and comfortable in a simple outfit of a black top, leggings, and a jacket with faux fur trim draped over her shoulder.
She arrived at the M&S Bank Arena for her performance with simple makeup and her hair pulled back into a bun.
I was really surprised and disappointed to see Helen publicly call out Scott on Instagram Stories yesterday. He’d been sharing photos from his weekend at the Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi, and she clearly wasn’t happy about it. It felt a bit out of the blue, seeing her address it so publicly!
Helen angrily re-posted a message from someone, writing: ‘You’re awful! How could you miss Charlie’s nativity play?’
Scott shared photos from his trip where he saw Lando Norris win his first Drivers’ Championship.
‘What a weekend-Abu Dhabi F1,’ Scott wrote.
He added: ‘Happy Days, blurry nights..’
Oh my gosh, Helen just posted the cutest picture! It’s her with little Charlie after his nativity play, and she’s literally glowing. The caption… it just melted me! She called him ‘My star, my heartbeat!’ Seriously, they are the sweetest family ever, and that little boy is just… everything. I can’t even handle the cuteness!

This news follows reports that Helen will be appearing on Celebrity Ex On The Beach, and she’s planning to create some drama.
According to The Sun, Helen is currently filming on location overseas and will be assertive in pursuing her goals.
Helen was with footballer Scott for 13 years before they broke up. More recently, she was dating Robbie Talbot, but that ended in May.
According to a source, Helen was thrilled to join the cast of Celebrity Ex On The Beach. MTV believes she’ll be a great addition to the show and bring a lot of personality to it.
‘Helen is sexy, feisty, and won’t hold back on the show and she wants to cause some fireworks.
This performance is a major opportunity for her to reach people who haven’t seen her work before.
