Okay, so the video starts with Lucy filming an apology – looks like she’s in some kind of trouble. But honestly, the sneak peek makes it clear her situation is nothing compared to what Stephen’s up to. Whatever he did is way bigger, it seems.

“Let’s just try to be kind to each other, okay?” Lucy said to Stephen while they were in bed. She also admitted her friends think she’s foolish for getting back together with him, given their troubled history.
In another part of the conversation, Diana asks Lucy, “Has anyone ever told you that you make really bad decisions?” Lucy replies with a laugh, “Yeah, I’ve heard that before.”
Outside of the central romance, Lucy and Stephen’s friends have to deal with their own mistakes.
Lucy’s friend Bree, played by Catherine Missal, started season one with her wedding in 2015. She’s still dealing with the fallout from her relationship with her married professor, Oliver (Tom Ellis). The new season shows them unexpectedly crossing paths at Baird College, but Oliver avoids her.

The new season promises more drama as shocking secrets come to light on campus, putting Lucy and her friends in danger. Expect plenty of explosive episodes!
The series Tell Me Lies launched in September 2022 and was generally well-received, earning a 75% rating on Rotten Tomatoes for its first season.
Reviewers were divided on the show. Some found its dramatic storylines and flawed characters engaging, while others considered them unappealing. Common Sense Media called it captivating, but Decider described it as unpleasant.
Season 3 of Tell Me Lies premieres on Disney+ on January 13, 2026, with the first two episodes available immediately. After that, new episodes will be released each week.
Season 1 and 2 are available on the same platform now.
