Disney is going all-out to promote its next Avengers movie, launching a huge marketing campaign well in advance of its December 2026 release.
Oh my gosh, you guys, I just heard the BEST news! Apparently, they’re showing FOUR different trailers for Doomsday before Avatar: Fire & Ash comes out this weekend! I’m already planning my trip to the cinema – I need to see all the Doomsday trailers before the movie, it’s going to be epic! I can’t even handle the excitement!
Marvel is sending four trailers for its upcoming movie to theaters. Each trailer will play for a week before a new one takes its place.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, fans hoping to see all the trailers for the upcoming Avatar film will need to buy movie tickets four separate times, as the trailers will only be shown in theaters and won’t be released online.
Fans are criticizing Disney’s recent promotional efforts, accusing the company of being overly desperate and attempting to manipulate or bribe them.
The dire reviews for Avatar: Fire & Ash have not helped calm the frustrations.

One moviegoer expressed frustration on X, stating that Disney seems desperate because interest in Avatar has faded. Another user joked that Disney is using trailers for Avengers movies to manipulate people into returning to cinemas.
‘Disney really out here bribing us with avengers trailers now huh?’
Some people suggested the studio might have wrongly assumed fans would be very excited about the trailer. One online comment stated, ‘People aren’t that interested in a one-minute trailer for a superhero film, unless it was a few years ago.’
Someone else wondered if Marvel fans would actually watch Avatar four times in theaters, calling the strategy weak. They predicted people would simply buy a ticket to see the trailer, then leave and share it online, or just repeatedly enter and exit the theater to avoid actually watching the movie.
Many movie fans liked the new approach, with one person on X calling it a ‘clever idea that will get people excited for the trailers.’ Another commenter noted that Disney is skilled at encouraging repeat viewings.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the movie ‘Doomsday.’ Robert Downey Jr. will be back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but this time he won’t be playing Iron Man. Instead, he’ll be taking on the role of Doctor Doom, the film’s villain.
It’s been six years since the Avengers last teamed up in a movie. They last appeared together in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, where they fought and won against Thanos, played by Josh Brolin.

That movie marked the final appearances of several beloved characters, including Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, and Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow.
Joe and Anthony Russo, the directing duo, are set to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe to direct a new film titled Avengers: Doomsday.
This team previously directed several major Marvel films, including Captain America: Winter Soldier, Civil War, and the most recent two Avengers movies.
Avatar is back in theaters this week with the release of “Fire and Ash.” This is the third film in James Cameron’s Avatar series, continuing the story that began with the hugely popular 2009 original and continued with 2022’s “Avatar: The Way of Water.”
The third film though has been widely panned by critics, ahead of its UK release on Friday.
Okay, so the first reactions to the movie are finally here, and honestly, I’m losing it! Can you believe this thing cost £300 MILLION to make?! It’s insane! And the cast? Zoe Saldana and Sigourney Weaver are both in it! I’ve been waiting for this forever, and it looks like it’s going to be everything I’ve dreamed of and more!
Some critics harshly reviewed the film, giving it only one star. They criticized the unoriginal story, the excessively long runtime of three hours and fifteen minutes, and even suggested the director should consider retiring.
The movie received the lowest ratings of any film in the series, scoring around 69-70% on review sites like Rotten Tomatoes.
