Story Highlights
- Thierry Henry is rumored to make his debut in the eFootball series as discussions have opened.
- The report has been made by same source that leaked Portuguese defender Pepe’s arrival.
There’s growing buzz about the game eFootball, and this time it centers around Thierry Henry. The same source that previously suggested Pepe would be joining the game is now reporting that KONAMI is in discussions to feature the iconic striker in the game.
Henry will arrive as a Legend Epic, possibly with a Big Time version in eFootball 2026
The announcement has caused disagreement within the community. Some people completely believe the source of the information, while others are skeptical because the details are vague and the deal is only in early discussions with the athlete.

It’s natural to be skeptical. When people first started talking about Pepe, there wasn’t any proof in previous posts, and nothing confirmed it right away. However, Pepe did eventually become a special, powerful card—a ‘Legend Epic’—in November.
If Thierry Henry is added to eFootball, players will have high expectations. He’d likely start as a high-level ‘Legend’ card, and many hope he’ll eventually get a special, boosted version similar to the one Zlatan Ibrahimović received. However, fans are also hoping the game developers secure proper licensing this time and avoid removing promotional content unexpectedly, like they did with the previous promotional campaign featuring the ‘Lion’.
Okay, so when it comes to skills, they’re giving Thierry Henry some really cool options like Momentum Dribbling, Acceleration Burst, and Phenomenal Finishing – stuff that could make him a total beast up front. They’re also throwing in Willpower, which is awesome. As for his Affinity paths, it looks like we’ll be able to choose between Barcelona or Arsenal, since KONAMI has the licenses for both clubs. I’m leaning towards Barcelona, honestly!

This has happened before. Players like Pelé and Puskás were revealed through leaked audio and commentary snippets before they were officially announced. Zidane’s release followed the same trend, with details appearing in commentary before his card was even available in the game.
Currently, these are just rumors, but we’re hoping they’re true and that we’ll soon have a really exciting player on the wing. We’ll likely need to invest some money to make it happen, though.
