Coleen Nolan ‘signs up to Celebs Go Dating as Channel 4 bosses hope she becomes series cougar’ after split from boyfriend Michael Jones

Coleen Nolan, known from the show Loose Women, is said to be joining the reality series Celebs Go Dating, hoping to find a new partner.

Coleen Nolan, best known as a member of the group The Nolans, has been single since her breakup with Michael Jones earlier this year.

They first connected on the dating app Tinder and dated for three years before the television personality decided a friendship would be a better fit for them.

Channel 4 is planning to feature Coleen Nolan as a contestant on a new dating show next year, and sources say they’re already finding potential younger partners for her.

According to a source close to the show, Coleen Nolan was a dream contestant for casting directors, and they were surprised and thrilled when she said yes.

This will be a new kind of show for her, but she’s known for being open, honest, and a bit playful on Loose Women, so producers think she’ll be a huge hit on TV.

People view her as someone who enjoys dating younger men, and the show has already cast a few younger actors opposite her. The team is thrilled to have her involved, confident she’s eager to find a partner and that they can help her do so.

Daily Mail have contacted Coleen and Channel 4 represensatives for comment.

Coleen has three children: Shane Junior and Jake Roche, from her relationship with Shane Richie, and her daughter Ciara, who she had with Ray Fensome.

Her children have all now moved out of her home and started families of their own.

Coleen will appear alongside actress Stephanie Davis on the next season of Celebs Go Dating, and filming begins next month on the E4 show.

Okay, let’s talk about Coleen! Honestly, she really surprised everyone on Loose Women recently. She got very candid about her intimate life – let’s just say she shared a bit more than most expected! It definitely got people talking, and it was a real moment of oversharing, but she owns it, and that’s what I love! It’s all about being comfortable and confident in your own skin, and she certainly seemed to be.

The 60-year-old rejoined Ruth Langsford, 65, Janet Street Porter, 78, and Mariella Frostrup, 63, on the show’s latest episode.

A segment from the Loose Women podcast, ‘Just Between Us,’ featured Coleen Nolan and Christine Lampard, 46, talking about watching pornography with their partners.

“Give it a chance before you dismiss it,” Coleen advised Christine, adding that she’d happily recommend it to anyone.

The camera shifted back to Coleen in the studio, and she admitted, ‘I really am my own biggest problem, aren’t I? I just keep talking, and I forget people are listening.’

Ruth went on to ask her: ‘Do you think that it is a good thing?’

Coleen explained that a friend was looking to add excitement to her sex life, but when she suggested watching porn with her husband, she immediately said she’d find it embarrassing.

‘Obviously the thoughts of that initially, when you’re in the moment, makes you cringe.

Now, looking back, many women, including myself, wonder how we ever dated anyone. The idea of someone kissing us… it’s unsettling now. It’s hard to imagine when you think about it afterward, but when you’re in the moment, those thoughts don’t seem to matter.

‘None of it matters…’

Addressing the elephant in the room, Coleen picked up her cup of tea and continued: ‘Yes, I have.’

Mariella shared that she understood why watching it with a partner might feel awkward, but Coleen quickly disagreed, saying it wasn’t awkward at all.

She admitted she hoped pornography had improved over the years, and Coleen agreed, simply saying, ‘Oh, they have…’

Janet chimed in: ‘I have to ask you Coleen, were you fully clothed when you watched the porn?’

‘Well that would be pointless, wouldn’t it?’ Coleen replied.

Janet continued: ‘You’re already halfway there, you’ve taken your kit off… ‘

Coleen cringed: ‘Oh my God – can we stop?!’

At the end of the conversation, Ruth said: ‘I say whatever floats your boat, Col.’

Mariella said: ‘Yeah but also doing it on your own is quite a good thing. It’s less embarrassing.’

But Coleen didn’t agree and shot back: ‘Pointless!’

It’s not the first time that Coleen has opened up about her sex life on the show.

Last month, the group was talking about whether they wanted relationships similar to their parents’. Ruth shared that her parents were always affectionate, often holding hands and giving each other compliments.

Coleen said: ‘I’m so jealous of that. I’m just looking for someone for six minutes.

The group erupted in laughter, and Ruth exclaimed, “Oh no, here she goes again! She’s really gone off on a tangent. Let’s take a break!”
