Luisa Zissman says her first husband’s affair ‘was the best thing that happened’ as she makes rare comments about her ‘kind’ second spouse: ‘His millions are a bonus!’

Luisa Zissman has spoken about the moment she discovered her first husband was having an affair.

The 38-year-old reality TV star revealed the painful experience of being betrayed and how it unexpectedly led her to find love with her current husband, 59-year-old multimillionaire Andrew Collins.

On this week’s LuAnna podcast, Luisa discussed her past marriages and surprisingly opened up about Andrew, mentioning his wealth is simply an added benefit.

Luisa and Oliver Zissman divorced in 2014 after five years of marriage. They share a 15-year-old daughter, Dixie, and the divorce followed Luisa discovering Oliver was unfaithful two years prior.

Soon after her divorce, she started seeing Andrew, and he proposed to her during a romantic vacation in Paris in October 2014.

Andrew made the Sunday Times Rich List in 2017, with an estimated net worth of £54million.

While discussing the situation with Anna Richardson, Luisa admitted she initially felt deeply hurt and betrayed. However, she ultimately believes it turned out to be a positive turning point in her life.

I recall being at Bills with my close friend and realizing he was being unfaithful. He consistently lied about his whereabouts, claiming to be with friends when he wasn’t, and was secretly taking another woman on weekend trips.

Luisa claimed she soon discovered Oliver had whisked off his lover abroad to Amsterdam and Germany.

It really hit me hard, like a physical blow, because this wasn’t just any business – it was mine, and he was working within it. Honestly, it felt like a huge betrayal, something I never expected.

Our relationship had its issues, and I definitely wasn’t perfect either. It’s natural to wonder what I could have done differently and feel unworthy after it ended. I tend to be a very direct thinker – something I attribute to being neurodiverse – which allows me to quickly accept what’s happened, learn from it, and move on.

‘It’s not normal to be as cut throat as I am.’

Following Luisa’s breakup advice, Anna chimed in, suggesting the listener could also find a wealthy partner, like Luisa did, with properties all over the world.

The TV personality admitted it wasn’t the main thing, but added that it was a nice perk, saying, ‘He’s a really kind person.’

During a romantic, private dinner overlooking the Eiffel Tower, the wealthy businessman proposed with an eight-carat diamond ring.

Let me tell you, life has been wonderful! My husband and I got married in Dublin back in July 2015, and we’ve been blessed with two amazing daughters. Indigo Esme is nine, and our sweet Clementine is seven. They definitely keep things lively around here!

The couple, known for keeping a low profile, are selling their historic £7.5 million home in Hertfordshire, which they purchased soon after getting married in 2015.

Luisa has a team of 15 people who help care for her family and maintain her property. This team includes gardeners, housekeepers, nannies, and an estate manager.

And Luisa met her match in a rather unusual way after he bid on her at a charity auction.

He raised over £3,000 for Shooting Stars Chase, a children’s hospice that offers support and care for families across the UK. They met at a Shooting Stars Chase event.

Similar to Rio and Kate Ferdinand, who moved their family to Dubai earlier this year, Luisa and Andrew are also choosing to live there now.

Luisa clarified that her oldest daughter, 15-year-old Dixie, will stay in the UK to complete her schooling at her boarding school.

Andrew has been living in Dubai for a year already, and their two daughters will begin school there in January.

Responding to someone who said many people are leaving the UK, Luisa sadly agreed, saying she’s always loved the country but is excited about a warmer climate and feeling safe walking alone at night in her new location.
