Claire Sweeney made a stylish appearance at the premiere of ‘Corriedale’ in Bradford’s National Science and Media Museum on Tuesday.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that a beloved soap star, age 54, will be making a special appearance! They’re joining both Emmerdale and Coronation Street in what’s promising to be a really exciting crossover episode – it’s a big moment for fans of both shows!
The actress who plays Cassie Plummer looked stylish and relaxed at the event, wearing a completely black outfit.
She looked chic in a tweed jacket with fur detailing on the cuffs, worn over a black midi dress that had a row of gold buttons down the front.
She completed the outfit with black tights and elevated her frame with a pair of black heels.
Claire was joined on the red carpet by James Cartwright, who plays Theo Silverton in the ITV soap.

The pair appeared in high spirits as they posed for snaps together.
A special, one-hour episode of Corriedale will air on January 5th at 8pm. Unlike previous episodes, it won’t be available to watch on ITVX before it airs on television.
Episodes of Emmerdale and Coronation Street will now air earlier – Emmerdale at 7pm and Coronation Street at 7:30pm. They’ll also be available on ITVX from 7am on the day they’re shown.
Coronation Street is introducing several new faces, including Kit, Carla, and Asha, along with James Bailey, played by Jason Callender.
Emmerdale has recently added several new characters, including Cain, Charity, Robert, Jacob, and Joe, along with Sarah Sugden, played by Katie Hill.
Joining the cast are David Platt, Aaron Dingle, Lisa Swain (played by Vicky Myers), Liam Cavanagh (played by Jonny McPherson), and Tracy Barlow (played by Kate Ford).
This special episode honors the tradition of soap operas and kicks off ITV’s new schedule, which will feature both Coronation Street and Emmerdale airing back-to-back.
It comes following fans first being treated to an explosive Corriedale trailer earlier this month.

When ITV first announced the special episode, they described it as a one-time event bringing together the settings and characters of Emmerdale and Coronation Street in a combined story.
The creative team behind the shows has come up with a clever way to connect these two worlds, while still allowing the characters to return to their original homes in the long-running soaps set in Manchester and Yorkshire.
This episode tells a complete story on its own, but the dramatic events will have lasting effects on the two communities. We’ll see some beloved characters leave, and new faces join the shows, permanently connecting them.
Iain MacLeod, who oversees continuing dramas at ITV, recently shared his enthusiasm about the start of filming for Corriedale, calling it ‘beyond exciting’.
Everyone is really excited about the photoshoots at both the Leeds and Manchester locations, and the pictures look amazing.
Plus, we haven’t even mentioned all the fantastic connections and interactions between characters from the various shows!
‘As a soap fan myself, I think my head is going to explode when the episode airs next year.
‘It will be mind-blowing, historical and unmissable.’
Filming for special started back in October.
