Samantha Mumba, 42, flashes a glimpse of her taut midriff in a black bandeau top as she poses for stunning snaps

Samantha Mumba showed off her toned stomach in a black crop top while sharing some beautiful photos on Instagram on Tuesday.

Oh my gosh, she just gets it, you know? That Irish singer-songwriter – she’s 42 and seriously, she looked absolutely amazing! I’m obsessed with the outfit she wore, this cropped top that totally showed off her incredible abs. Like, how does she do that?!

Samantha posed for several mirror selfies, wearing a top with a beige skirt. The skirt had a unique, asymmetrical design and gathered detailing on one side.

She kept her accessories simple, adding a thin gold belly chain, a coordinating necklace, and small silver diamond earrings.

She posted the photos with a motivating quote: ‘It’s not about how long something takes, but whether things are in the right order. – The Universe.’

Captioning the post, Samantha wrote: ‘Growing ✨Evolving✨Remembering✨’

I wasn’t surprised to see things heat up – it all started back in February when Samantha really let the Eurosong panel on the Late Late Show have it on social media. She called them out for being incredibly rude and nasty, and honestly, I agreed with her. It’s been building since then, and now we’re seeing the fallout from that initial blast.

The Dublin-born singer performed her song, “My Way,” on a show earlier this year that decided who would represent Ireland at Eurovision.

Despite receiving a lot of votes from the public, Samantha wasn’t chosen to compete for the country in Switzerland, and she was understandably upset.

EMMY, a Norwegian singer, will represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest with her song “Laika Party.” She was chosen over other finalists including Samantha, Bobbi Arlo, Reylta, ADGY, and NIYL.

The next day, she turned to Instagram to share her thoughts on the event, beginning with upbeat posts and photos from the night.

I was planning to share this yesterday, but I was completely exhausted. Thank you so much for all the wonderful messages and support! I’ve done my best to reply to everyone.

I’m incredibly proud of both my own effort and the team’s hard work on this performance. I’m completely happy with how it turned out and wouldn’t change a single detail. Some people connected with it, and that’s fantastic – but it’s okay if others didn’t. It’s my creative work, and I fully support it.

She also sharply criticized the judging panel, with one exception. She felt they lacked the necessary qualifications, experience, and professionalism, and were unnecessarily harsh to all the finalists. As a final message, she wished them misfortune, symbolized by an eggplant emoji.

I would have said this directly, but everyone left the waiting area before I could.

Finally, a massive thank you to @latelaterte and their incredible team! It was wonderful working with everyone again.

Wishing the incredibly sweet @emmykgk00 all the best as she competes in Switzerland! We’re all rooting for you and hoping you make us proud! ❤️

EMMY’s act received 34 points, while Mumba’s song came in second with 26.

The judging panel included well-known chef and Eurovision performer Donal Skehan, dance expert Arthur Gourounlian, broadcaster Laura Fox, and singer Bambie Thug.

Mumba called Fox, Skehan, and Gourounlian ‘complete fools’ in a comment on her post.

Donal seemed to respond to her critical post by sharing a selfie with the word ‘Bozo’ written on it, along with two eggplant emojis.

RTÉ released a statement praising the Eurosong panel for The Late Late Show, highlighting their professional approach, thoughtful opinions, honesty, and positive attitudes.

As a dedicated fan, I see the judges’ job as giving their genuine opinions on each performance. They share what they think will make a song and act stand out at Eurovision, and honestly, whether they believe it has a real chance of winning. It’s all about their expert take on what works and what doesn’t!

The panel carefully considered all factors when making their decision, which ultimately reflected the public’s choice of artist and song to represent Ireland in this year’s competition. Sharing personal opinions is always challenging, as differing viewpoints are to be expected.

Our team carefully completed the task, and we’re very grateful for their excellent work on Friday night.

Samantha quickly became famous after her first single, “Gotta Tell You,” was a huge success, reaching number four on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and becoming popular in the UK.

Despite achieving success with six top ten hits, she never reached number one. As a result, her record label let her go, and she decided to pursue a career in acting.

The singer tried to make a comeback with a concert in Dublin in 2007, but it was cancelled due to poor ticket sales.

She expressed disappointment about having to cancel her Dublin concert, but shared her excitement for the London show. She’s looking forward to performing her new album live in Dublin when it’s released, as performing in her hometown has always been a dream of hers.
