The 2025 film Eden doesn’t seem to be getting the attention it deserves, and with its release on Netflix just around the corner, I think it’s worth a watch. It’s a gripping survival thriller coming out at a time when many big movies haven’t performed well in theaters. Unfortunately, Eden, despite having a talented cast, was also among them.

Despite costing around $35 million to make, the movie Eden only earned $2.8 million in theaters, resulting in a significant loss for the studio. While that might suggest the film wasn’t well-received, it actually has a good 73% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. Having seen it, I believe Eden has the potential to be very popular on streaming services.

Eden Arrives On Netflix Next Week

As December ends, Netflix has a lot of great movies to offer. While many families enjoy traditional Christmas films this time of year, Eden provides a different, more thrilling option for viewers looking for something a bit darker and more complex. It didn’t do well in theaters, so a lot of people likely missed it the first time around.

Netflix subscribers will soon be able to watch the film Eden. It will be available on the streaming service starting December 23rd, just about four months after it was released in theaters on August 22nd. If you don’t have a Netflix subscription, Eden has been available to buy digitally since September 19th.
