As a bit of a romantic at heart, I was so touched to hear about Conor McGregor and Dee Devlin’s wedding! Apparently, after a super private ceremony at The Vatican on Friday, their first dance as husband and wife was to Mariah Carey’s ‘Dreamlover’. How sweet is that? It’s lovely to see them finally celebrate their love after all these years together.
The wedding was a complete surprise, but news broke last week when photos surfaced of the couple driving through Rome in their wedding car, revealing they had secretly gotten married.
Pictures from the lively wedding reception captured Conor and Dee’s first dance, performed live by the band Sweet Love. Interestingly, Sweet Love is signed to Greenback Records, a label owned by the athlete himself.
The couple celebrated their wedding with a grand party that lasted until the early morning. Dee looked beautiful in a stunning white lace dress with an open back.
Dee has supported her partner, Conor, even after a civil court found him responsible for sexually assaulting Nikita Hand. They have four children together.
In July, Conor faced accusations of infidelity after photos surfaced showing him kissing an unidentified woman in Florida. He was also alleged to have sent explicit photos to rapper Azealia Banks.

Even though they faced some challenges, Dee and Conor looked incredibly happy in photos from their beautiful wedding reception, held at a stunning castle near Rome.
The newly married couple clapped for the band – Maya, Jamine, Venice, and Honey – and then took a group photo with them while they were on the dance floor.
The girls described the space as overflowing with roses – thousands of red and white blooms filled every room, reaching from the floor to the ceiling. White roses decorated the walkways, and so many candles created a beautifully romantic setting, like something from a movie.
For their first dance as a married couple, Sweet Love beautifully performed Mariah Carey’s “Dreamlover.” Later, they changed into new outfits and kept the party going with a lively six-song set that lasted late into the night.
Conor and Dee created a special cocktail called ‘Sweet Love’ just for the girl band, and the group really appreciated this thoughtful and personal addition to the event.
The girls, who sang their original song “Maybe I’m Crazy” as well, said performing was a truly magical and unforgettable experience – one of the highlights of their careers.
Jasmine described the wedding as magical, like something out of a film. She said Conor and Dee are clearly deeply in love and have found their perfect match, and she felt privileged that her group got to perform during their first dance. Overall, it was a wonderful and unforgettable evening.
Maya described it as breathtaking. The venue was filled with candles and flowers, creating a scene straight out of a romantic film. She said when the couple began their first dance, they were completely lost in each other.

Honey described the wedding as beautiful, filled with love and warmth. She said everyone was wonderful and the atmosphere was inviting and cheerful. They especially enjoyed the ‘Sweet Love’ drink.
Venice said it was a truly beautiful wedding, filled with love and joy. They felt honored to have performed and described it as a special experience, witnessing such a deeply connected couple share an unforgettable moment.
The event was initially a secret, but soon after the wedding, the couple was seen riding through Rome in a beautiful, flower-covered white Rolls Royce Phantom III from the 1930s.
The newly married couple beamed as they were driven through the city, with Conor looking sharp in a black tuxedo, vest, and bow tie.
The couple celebrated late into the night on Friday with a luxurious party. Guests enjoyed a live band and even a station where they could roll their own cigars. The exact location of the event wasn’t revealed.
A social media video captures Conor posing for pictures with his wife, followed by him dancing to Lionel Richie’s classic song, “All Night Long.”
He exuberantly threw his arms up, still holding his cigar, as he began dancing with Ms. Devlin and a group of other women who were all wearing glittering sequined dresses.
People familiar with the MMA fighter told the Daily Mail that the wedding is happening on Friday.
Originally, the group hoped to hold their ceremony in the Sistine Chapel, but Vatican rules don’t allow weddings to take place there, according to sources.
According to a source familiar with their plans, Conor McGregor and Dee Devlin are hoping to marry before Christmas. They’re reportedly planning a wedding ceremony at the Vatican in Rome.
‘They are both staunch Catholics and it is their dream to wed there.
The couple’s dream is to get married in the Sistine Chapel, but that’s not possible. They’re considering the Cappella del Caro instead, which is near St. Peter’s Basilica and can hold up to 100 guests.
Details are currently confidential, but the date December 12th has been suggested, so we’ll need to wait and see what happens.
Conor McGregor often acknowledges his wife, Dee, as a stabilizing force in his life. He’s stated that she’s incredibly supportive, and he wouldn’t be pursuing his career without her. He’s also said his motivation comes from wanting to provide for her.
He shared that since the beginning of his career, she’s always been his biggest supporter. She used to take him to the gym and always listened to his aspirations.
I just… I can’t believe Dee is still standing by him. Even after everything that came out in that court case in Dublin – the jury finding he assaulted that woman, Nikita Hand, back in 2018 – she’s still publicly supporting him! It’s just… baffling to me. I’ve followed Conor for years, and honestly, it’s hard to reconcile that with this. I just wish she’d see… well, never mind. I’m just a fan, I guess.
Conor said the alleged incident didn’t happen as claimed and that any contact was agreed upon by both parties. However, the court did not believe his version of events.
In July, Ireland’s Supreme Court dismissed Conor’s appeal, finding he had received a fair trial.
I was really hoping the judge would agree with his legal team – they made a strong case that what he said to the police shouldn’t have even been shown to the jury. It just felt like it wasn’t fair to present that information to them.
He was ordered to pay Nikita €248,000 (£218,000) in damages, along with high legal costs.
This lawsuit followed a decision by Irish prosecutors in 2019 not to pursue criminal charges against McGregor, even after a police investigation.
Nikita later pursued the case through the civil courts, with proceedings beginning in 2021.
Following last year’s legal proceedings, Ms. Devlin stated that she and Conor had resolved these matters privately a long time ago, as is best for any relationship, and that their bond is now stronger than ever.
Our four wonderful children bring us so much joy, and their happiness truly reflects the kind of people we are.
Last year, McGregor announced his intention to run for the presidency in Ireland.
However, he failed to secure enough support to appear on the ballot. He ended his bid in September.
He stated he made the decision after carefully considering it and discussing it with his family.
