Kim Kardashian married Russell, a 54-year-old audio engineer, in a private ceremony in the UK on Thursday, according to People magazine.

She called her amazing vacation at One&Only Reethi Rah a dream come true, sharing a photo of herself in a bikini. ❤️

Kim and Russell met at the BBC in London in 2016. Kim was a guest on the Woman’s Hour program, recording a piece about her struggles with insomnia, when they were introduced.
She married Thomas at Chelsea Old Town Hall in a ceremony that reportedly featured just 12 guests.
The wedding was simple and intimate, focusing on the couple’s close bond built over the past ten years and their cherished relationships with family and friends.
Pictures from the private wedding show Kim stayed true to her fashion sense, wearing a chic Dior suit designed with the help of Patricia Field, her longtime stylist and the former costume designer for Sex and the City.
Even though Patricia wasn’t involved in the new Sex and the City series, And Just Like That, Kim Cattrall convinced her to return and style her for a quick appearance in the show’s second season.
Kim’s wedding suit from Dior was a beautiful champagne colour. It included a jacket and a skirt with a delicate, layered overlay of pleated, dotted tulle.
The actress, who is British, Canadian, and American, complemented her suit with elegant white lace gloves from Cornelia James and a custom hat by Philip Treacy. The hat featured a dramatic white lace detail and a beautiful fabric flower, according to People magazine.
Kim seemed to get a jump on wearing her wedding ring! She was spotted with it on the red carpet at the 2025 Fashion Awards in London on Monday, a few days before her actual wedding ceremony on Thursday.
In June 2023, Kim told The Times of London she was very happy and thankful for her good relationship with Russell.
She praised their ‘nice life,’ which came into focus after their initial meeting at the BBC.
Kim mentioned that Russell reached out to her after she was on BBC Radio 4, and he started following her on X, formerly known as Twitter.
I remember when he first reached out – it was a direct message, actually! I told Glamour back in 2018 that it felt really contemporary and, honestly, connecting with him has always been so effortless.
Their relationship became more serious after he traveled to Vancouver, Canada, to visit her.
I was so touched when he reached out! We hadn’t known each other long – just shared a few meals – but he was really courageous to make the first move. Luckily, we clicked instantly, and honestly, we’ve been inseparable ever since! I told People magazine back in 2020 how grateful I was that he took that chance.
Kim told The Times that while her past relationships felt more like immediate connections, her relationship with Russell developed slowly and naturally over time.
Kim explained that her life and the life of the other person were very distinct. She added that she enjoyed her life and felt thankful for it.
Kim explained that she and Russell really found out what their relationship was like when they were stuck together during the coronavirus pandemic. Now, though, they’re able to travel easily between the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
Kim told People magazine in 2020 that she feels very at ease with him. She described him as energetic and funny, and also said he’s attractive.
