’80s legend Kelly LeBrock says she gave up ‘diamonds for dirt’ as she talks leaving Hollywood for ranch living

Kelly LeBrock recently discussed trading her glamorous lifestyle for a simpler one while attending the Vanderpump Dog Gala, a rare public appearance for the actress.

Ilana Gerber, famous for her role as Lisa in the 1985 film Weird Science, now lives a quiet life on a ranch in Santa Ynez, California, after leaving the Hollywood scene.

Wearing a cowboy hat and boots personalized with her initials, 65-year-old Kelly LeBrock gave an exclusive interview to The Daily Mail about her peaceful life looking after animals in the country.

“Just dinner and drinks, and it’s nice to see everyone,” said 65-year-old LeBrock, when asked about her evening plans. “I don’t go out much these days. I’m a bit of a homebody, and I actually prefer it that way.”

She explained that she traded a luxurious life for a simple one, now owning a large ranch filled with horses, cattle, dogs, and chickens. She manages the ranch mostly on her own, with just one person helping out for a day each week.

The property sits tucked away behind a lake in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley, which LeBrock called a ‘hidden gem’.

She described a beautiful spot behind the lake, calling it a hidden treasure. Surprisingly, she also mentioned that she lives in the church, and raved about the stunning surrounding countryside.

LeBrock also opened up about her past health challenges she has endured – a bout with skin cancer. 

While promoting a new pet skincare line, the actress shared details about her previous health struggles.

I create products for animals because I’m passionate about them. I’m especially proud of our wound care – it’s truly remarkable. We also have products for people. I personally used it to heal a large skin cancer; they had to remove a significant area, but it’s completely healed now, with no visible scar.

LeBrock said she had been afflicted by the illness ‘a couple of times.’  

‘Happy to be here,’ she added. 

LeBrock claimed the product is a ‘miracle drug’ that heals open wounds ‘completely.’  

She explained that the drug completely heals wounds in animals that would otherwise be unstitchable or unable to heal. Describing it as a ‘miracle drug,’ she also highlighted that it’s completely natural and environmentally friendly.

After her divorce from Steven Seagal, Kelly left Hollywood and has spent the last 25 years living a secluded life on her ranch, largely without television or much contact with the outside world.

Kelly was married three times. Her first husband was Victor Drai, a film producer and restaurant owner, and they were married from 1984 to 1986.

She married actor Steven Seagal in 1987 and they had a daughter, Arissa, in 1993. The couple later divorced in 1996.

The famous actor married retired banker Fred Steck in 2007, but they divorced after just one year of marriage.

The 1985 film Weird Science follows two awkward teenagers who create their ideal woman using a computer. They’re surprised, to say the least, when a strange electrical event actually makes her real.

The movie quickly became a fan favorite, earning $38.9 million in the box office worldwide.
