The free player icon and name card pair perfectly with the High Society Vendetta skin.
Season 20 of Overwatch 2 introduces Vendetta, a brand-new damage-dealing hero, along with cool cosmetic items. Players can unlock the stunning High Society Vendetta skin by progressing through the Ultimate Battle Pass. But, the High Society Vendetta player icon and name card are free – just watch Overwatch 2 streams on Twitch during Season 20 to receive them as Twitch Drops.
Overwatch 2 Season 20 Twitch Drops
Between December 9th and December 22nd, Overwatch 2 fans can snag some exclusive High Society Vendetta items by watching streams on Twitch. Plus, if you tune into participating Twitch channels showcasing Overwatch 2, you’ll also receive two free loot boxes.
You can earn the High Society Vendetta icon by watching for 1 hour, and the name card by watching for 3 hours. Watching for a total of 6 hours unlocks a regular loot box, while an epic loot box is awarded after 10 hours of watching Overwatch 2.
Okay, so if I want to snag those High Society Vendetta items in Overwatch 2, the first thing I need to do is make sure my Battle.net and Twitch accounts are linked. Then, I just need to head over to a Twitch channel that’s actually streaming Overwatch 2 and has Twitch Drops turned on. Luckily, if I’ve already connected those accounts before, I’m all set and don’t need to do it again!
| Watch Time | Overwatch 2 Twitch Drops |
|---|---|
| 1 hour | High Society Vendetta player icon |
| 3 hours | High Society Vendetta name card |
| 6 hours | Season 20 loot box |
| 10 hours | Season 20 epic loot box |
How to unlock the High Society Vendetta skin
If you want to get the High Society Vendetta skin to complete your outfit, you’ll need the Ultimate Battle Pass for Overwatch 2 Season 20. This pass can only be purchased with real money, not with in-game currency like Overwatch Coins.
You can get the High Society Vendetta skin by opening the Overwatch 2 shop from the main menu and choosing the “Ultimate Battle Pass Bundle: Season 20.” It costs $53.99 Canadian dollars, which is roughly $39.99 US dollars.
After you’ve unlocked a skin, you can use it by going to the “Heroes” menu, selecting Vendetta, and then customizing her gear. Just hit the “Equip” button to set her new look!
High Society Vendetta in Overwatch 2 lore
This skin is unique because it connects to Vendetta’s backstory. It shows she’s not just a powerful fighter, but also proud of where she comes from. Jude Stacey, a senior narrative designer, explained this in a recent interview with Xpsp.
Okay, so I’ve been reading the comic, and this character’s backstory is intense. Seriously, a lot of terrible things happened to her, and she’s super driven to get back what she lost. When she went into the Colosseo to prove herself, she immediately went for the aggressive approach, which makes sense. But what’s really cool is she wasn’t raised as a barbarian – she knows how to navigate high society too! I love how she balances those two sides of herself; it makes her a really interesting character.
