Cruz Beckham reached out to his brother Brooklyn again this weekend as Brooklyn prepares to spend Christmas away from their parents and siblings.
Brooklyn will likely spend the holidays with his wife, Nicola Peltz, and her family at their large home in Miami. Meanwhile, his father, Sir David, his wife, and their three other children will celebrate together in the UK.
Twenty-year-old Cruz honored his older brother on Sunday by posting a childhood video of them together.
This was the second time in two weeks that Cruz had mentioned the influencer. Previously, he’d posted a photo from a 2021 holiday with David Beckham, Brooklyn, and Romeo, writing, ‘Love you guys @davidbeckham @brooklynbeckham @romeobeckham.’
This seems to be the first time Cruz has posted a picture of his brother online since their family conflict became more serious.
A popular online personality and his wife have been caught in a worsening family conflict, causing them to miss important events like his father Sir David’s 50th birthday and a recent honors ceremony. They haven’t attended any family gatherings for the past year.

People close to the family say the eldest son’s absence is deeply affecting them, especially because he couldn’t be there to see a special honor – his father receiving a knighthood – and to celebrate his soccer team, Inter Miami, winning the championship.
Sir David seemingly tried to mend things with Brooklyn by posting an old photo of them together on social media.
On Wednesday evening, David Beckham posted on Instagram a photo of himself with his family – Victoria, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper – celebrating his team’s championship win in Miami. He also included an older photo from 2011 and 2012, showing him with Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz after winning the same trophy while playing for the LA Galaxy.
Okay, seriously, seeing him post that collage with ‘License to cry,’ just destroyed me in the best way! It was so perfect. He actually DID it! He won the MLS Cup as a player with the Galaxy, and now, as an owner?! I can’t even. It’s history, and he made it. I’m not crying, you’re crying! It’s just… everything I’ve ever wanted for him. I’m so unbelievably proud!
David and Victoria Beckham haven’t seen their son Brooklyn for a while. He’s been spending time with his wife Nicola Peltz’s family, while the Beckhams themselves are still based in the UK. They are also parents to Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.
Brooklyn’s grandmother, Jackie, hinted she’d love for him to spend the holidays with her by posting a photo of his custom stocking displayed on her fireplace.
Victoria posted a video on Instagram showcasing her mother’s beautiful holiday decorations, which were arranged neatly on the stone fireplace in her living room.
Above the fireplace, you can see matching red stockings for Victoria Beckham’s four children – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper – and many of their cousins. These cousins include the four children of Victoria’s sister, Louise, and her ex-husband, Darren Flood: Liberty, Tallulah, Finlay, and Quincy.

Captioning the video, the former Spice Girl wrote: ‘So many grandchildren!’
People close to the Beckhams say Jackie, and David’s mother Sandra, are deeply upset by the current distance between them, particularly because they used to be very close.
When Brooklyn was a baby and toddler, Jackie spent a lot of time caring for him because David and Victoria Beckham were often traveling for work. People close to the family say Brooklyn was always delighted to see Jackie and his mother at family gatherings.
According to a source close to the situation, David and Victoria Beckham are adjusting to being without their son Brooklyn, and while they’re upset, they’re learning to accept the new circumstances.
It’s really hard on his grandmothers. They loved Brooklyn and were very close to him – he adored them too. Now, they don’t get to see him anymore, which is heartbreaking.

Everyone is worried about Jackie and Sandra, as they’re getting older and it’s unclear if or when they’ll be able to visit Brooklyn again. Their situation is particularly heartbreaking given the family’s ongoing disagreements.
Things escalated in May when he and Nicola didn’t attend his father’s 50th birthday party, and his sons, Cruz and Romeo, stopped following him on Instagram. To make matters worse, the couple then renewed their wedding vows without telling or inviting any family members.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m hearing from my sources that Jackie and Sandra were genuinely taken aback to learn Brooklyn and Nicola had already renewed their wedding vows earlier this year – apparently, they weren’t told about it beforehand! It seems like a bit of a surprise for them, and they found out just like the rest of us.
I noticed they weren’t there when Victoria had her family together in October to celebrate the release of her Netflix documentary – it was a special moment for her and her loved ones, and I was a little surprised to see they missed it.
