Pregnant Made In Chelsea star Alice Yaxley makes major change just hours after marrying co-star Sam Vanderpump in intimate ceremony

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always fascinated by how couples celebrate their love, and Alice Yaxley and Sam Vanderpump are definitely embracing modern traditions! They’ve officially sealed their marriage in a way that feels very current and of-the-moment.

After a private wedding at Chelsea Registry Office on Sunday, the 24-year-old, who is expecting a baby, updated her Instagram profile to reflect her new married name, Vanderpump, dropping her maiden name, Yaxley.

Even though her username is still ‘lifeofyaxx’, she’s now listed as Alice Vanderpump on the site, a change that happened shortly after her wedding.

Sam, age 28, married his co-star in a private ceremony with their nearest and dearest, followed by an elegant dinner celebration.

The couple, who are expecting a baby soon, are planning a big party in May 2027 to celebrate after their son is born in February.

Alice glowed in a beautiful ivory wedding gown, designed to flatter her baby bump, and a long, flowing veil. She confessed that finding the perfect dress to fit her seven-month pregnancy had been incredibly difficult.

Sam beamed with happiness, holding his new wife’s hand. He looked sharp in a white tuxedo, complete with a black bowtie and a red flower on his lapel.

According to the Daily Mail, the couple had a lovely, small wedding ceremony after facing some challenging times recently.

I was so thrilled to hear that Sam and Alice finally tied the knot! It was a really small and intimate ceremony, but absolutely beautiful. They’ve described it as ‘the start of our marriage,’ which is just the sweetest thing, and I’m so happy for them both.

Sam promised Alice excitement from the very beginning of their relationship, and he hasn’t disappointed so far.

They’re expecting a baby on Valentine’s Day, which makes for a wonderful and exciting beginning to the new year and their life as a married couple.

The couple celebrated their wedding with a beautiful photoshoot, which they shared first with Hello! magazine.

Sam and Alice shared the wonderful news that they’re expecting a baby boy in February of next year. They’ve already chosen a name with special meaning for their family, and he’s due on Valentine’s Day.

Sam shared that they’ve named their new arrival Marmaduke. The name has a special meaning – Sam’s dad, who has passed away, always dreamed of calling Sam’s brother ‘Duke,’ believing he’d grow up to be a future Prime Minister named Duke Vanderpump.

I adored the name, but my mum wasn’t a fan, so my brother ended up being called Jack. Dad cleverly got his way in the end by giving Jack the middle name Daniels.

We absolutely love the name Marmaduke, so we’ve nicknamed him Duke. We were inspired by a wonderful scene in Downton Abbey where Maggie Smith and her daughter talk about a character named Marmaduke, and it made the name even more special to us.

Sam proposed to Alice in March, following a health scare earlier in the year. In January, he’d been hospitalized with liver and kidney problems that led to a dangerous infection.

He revealed on the reality show Made In Chelsea last month that he has a serious, incurable liver condition. Without a liver transplant, doctors estimate he has only four or five years to live.

He was born with two uncommon conditions affecting his liver and kidneys, but they didn’t cause problems until last December, when his organs started to fail.

On the recent We Need To Talk podcast with Paul C Brunson, Sam shared that he found out what was really causing his health issues shortly after Alice announced she was pregnant.

He described the experience as frightening, but admitted he couldn’t recall exactly when it happened – possibly eight to twelve weeks ago. He believes the trauma caused him to block out the memory.
