Simon Cowell shared a video of himself without a shirt on Instagram this Sunday. This comes after his new Netflix documentary revealed his unusual daily habits and very strict diet.
I was so happy to see Simon Cowell looking fantastic this Christmas! He shared a photo with his adorable dogs, Squiddly and Diddly, and honestly, he’s looking incredibly fit at 66. It really made my day seeing them all together and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!
Standing by his pool in the Los Angeles sunshine, Simon wore bright swim trunks and his signature aviator sunglasses.
The music executive grinned, holding a Yorkshire Terrier in each hand as they yapped excitedly. ‘That’s how dogs say ‘Merry Christmas!” he explained.
He captioned the post: ‘Happy Christmas from Squiddly and Diddly’.
Simon loves dogs and has a total of three Yorkies, including one named Freddie. He also has a rescue dog called Daisy and a German Shepherd named Pebbles.

Simon Cowell’s new TV show, The Next Act, is mainly about finding the next big boyband, but it’s the moments showing his life at home that viewers are really captivated by.
The new docuseries, released last week, chronicles a wealthy businessman’s search across the country for the next big pop star. He’s bringing back the classic talent show approach, complete with auditions and intense training camps, reminiscent of his earlier successes.
Simon Cowell has cleverly changed the usual TV approach by gradually sharing personal details about his life, bringing his relationships with his fiancée Lauren Silverman and son Eric, 11, more into the public eye.
The cameras document the family’s life, traveling with them from their large home in West London to their villa in Barbados and their $24 million estate in Malibu.
Simon prefers a very minimalist and clean home, partly because he’s allergic to dust. He employs a team of staff – including housekeepers, drivers, and chefs – to maintain this spotless environment and keep his highly structured life running smoothly.
In an early episode, Lauren admits she finds his habits annoying, but then adds with a sigh that people don’t really change.
The series also highlights Simon’s very disciplined eating habits. He adopted a remarkably healthy lifestyle following a serious back injury in a 2020 bicycle accident.
He used to say that dietitians told him his eating habits were extremely unhealthy, so he drastically cut his calorie intake to under 1,000 per day and started a rigorous exercise plan that includes 600 push-ups every day.
Simon eats the same things daily, always starting with his beloved green smoothie and having a half-crumpet for lunch.

During the show, he pointed out the contrast between how he and Lauren eat, referencing her salad – made by Simon’s chef, Geoff. He then proceeded to butter his crumpet and explained he’d eat half of it immediately and save the rest for dinner.
Simon has a habit of halving everything he consumes, even beer. He’ll drink four light beers containing 90 calories each, but only after pouring out half of each one, effectively turning them into shandies.
Simon recently shared his unusual routine, explaining that his love of sleep and healthy lifestyle go hand-in-hand. He eats dinner surprisingly early, at 4:30pm, stays up late, and doesn’t wake until 10am. This allows him to practice intermittent fasting, going 17 hours without food.
He may be a workaholic but Simon despises an early morning.
The first episode of The Next Act captures a moment of quiet chaos as the team rushes to get him out of his hotel by 7:45am for a live radio interview on a breakfast show.

Simon’s housekeeper is working to create a calm atmosphere at his London hotel, helping his hair stylist prepare to give him a haircut, even though Simon looks tired.
Honestly, I totally get Simon. He just admitted he’s not wired this way, and I saw it all happening as he practically fell asleep in the makeup chair. It was a quick little power nap while they worked on him, but it perfectly showed how overwhelmed he was feeling.
Simon keeps his morning routine easy by sticking to a very limited wardrobe. He’s worn the same style of Armani jeans for years and owns around 200 identical charcoal grey T-shirts from Derek Rose.
He also wears box-fresh underwear every day.
