Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s school night turns awkward with Jennifer Lopez sighting

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez reportedly had an uncomfortable encounter while at a school play, where they were both supporting their kids.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony were seen at the show where their twins, Fin and Emme, shared the stage.

Although they both attended the same event and seemed pleased for their child, the two parents didn’t appear to speak or acknowledge each other, which highlighted the awkwardness of the situation as they kept to themselves.

Jennifer Lopez attended the school event with her manager of many years, Benny Medina, and her mother, Guadalupe Rodríguez.

Pictures show the singer and actress arriving at the event in a smart blazer. She stayed with her close friends and team while they waited for the show to start.

Affleck, meanwhile, attended with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner and their son Samuel, 13. 

The actor and Garner arrived at the school together in the same car, with Garner riding in the passenger seat.

Photos from inside the event showed Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck standing on opposite sides of a busy hallway while guests arrived.

One picture shows Lopez in conversation with someone, while Affleck stands several feet away, mingling with a crowd and not interacting with her.

Affleck and Garner’s son, Samuel, however, enjoyed a friendly chat with his former stepmother.

An eyewitness told The Daily Mail ‘Ben spoke with others’ but did not ‘acknowledge’ Lopez outside. 

Following the performance, Affleck and Garner were seen leaving together. Affleck then drove off, while Garner stayed seated in the car.

Lopez, meanwhile, exited separately with her entourage following the performance.

The school play was a rare occasion where Jennifer Affleck and Ben Lopez were both present after their separation.
