Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani first connected over ten years ago while working together as coaches on The Voice, and their relationship surprised many people. Perhaps that’s why there are frequent rumors about them splitting up. Now, four years after getting married, those rumors are resurfacing. A source recently shared some information about the state of their relationship as the holidays approach.
Rumors of trouble between Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been circulating, largely because they haven’t shared many public appearances together on social media this year. However, a source close to the couple told People magazine that they are doing well and divorce rumors are untrue.
I’ve been seeing all these rumors about them breaking up, but honestly, I don’t believe them for a second. They’ve both been super busy with work, that’s all. Whenever they are together, you can just feel the connection – they’re so clearly still in love and happy together!
If you look at Gwen Stefani’s Instagram account, you’ll see a ton of work-related photos and videos, but outside of an anniversary post and one acknowledging Blake Shelton’s birthday, there’s not a whole lot of her husband to be seen. The insider suggested fans shouldn’t read too much into that, saying:
Their family life fluctuates between dedicated quality time and periods heavily focused on work. Both partners are passionate about their careers and aren’t ready to step back. It’s not always easy – juggling work and family is challenging – but that’s simply the reality for many families with two working parents.
Okay, so if the reports are true, what I find genuinely heartwarming about this couple is their solid foundation. They clearly trust and support each other’s ambitions, even if it means facing long periods of separation. It’s a really mature and encouraging dynamic to see, honestly.
Blake Shelton’s been keeping busy! He released a new album, For Recreational Use Only, in May and has been touring. He’s also part of The Road, a new singing competition created by Taylor Sheridan that will air on TV in 2025 and stream on Paramount+. Plus, he’s kicking off 2026 with a six-show concert residency in Las Vegas.
Gwen Stefani and her band No Doubt will be performing at the Sphere in Las Vegas in 2026 for six shows. In addition to this, Gwen released a new solo album called Bouquet in March 2025.
Recent rumors about a possible split between Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton seem to have prompted them to publicly display their relationship. Stefani shared a Thanksgiving photo of them together on Instagram, and earlier in December, she was seen wearing both her wedding and engagement rings, signaling they are still together.
I hope the rumors about their breakup aren’t true, and everything is okay. It would be nice to see them share how they’re celebrating the holidays this Christmas, so let’s wait and see if they post anything!
