Tilly Ramsay shared that her dad, Gordon, got emotional when she told him she wanted to become a chef like him.
The 23-year-old hopeful chef shared her dream of going to culinary school and turning her love of cooking into a career.
But when she revealed her future plans to her famed father, she confessed that he ‘teared up’.
She explained that she told him, ‘I’ve made up my mind and I’m going through with it – I’ve been accepted, and I hope you’re alright with that.’ She recalled that he seemed very upset, and she thought she saw tears in his eyes, as she told Celebrity Nine.
‘He was super happy to know that I really enjoy what I’ve been doing. ‘
Tilly confessed she wasn’t completely new to the work, explaining she’d previously worked with him and benefited from valuable experiences alongside him.

Gordon and Tana Ramsay are parents to six children: Megan, the twins Jack and Holly, Matilda (also known as Tilly), Oscar, and their youngest son, Jesse James.
Tilly isn’t the only one with big news – Holly is getting married soon, too!
The wedding planning hasn’t been entirely smooth, as Holly’s fiancé, Adam Peaty, has been dealing with some family issues.
Gordon’s mother has asked Netflix to take her out of his upcoming documentary. She’s upset about them potentially profiting from the family’s difficult and public disagreements, which have caused a lot of tension.
Caroline and her husband, Mark, have sent a legal notice, called a ‘cease and desist’ letter, to the streaming service that will be showing the celebrity chef’s new series next year, according to a source. The letter was delivered with proof of receipt.
According to a source, Caroline doesn’t want Gordon or his family – including her son, Adam – to benefit financially from their relationship.
‘Enough damage has already been done which has been devastating for them.’
Caroline, the mother of the Olympic champion, has informed Netflix that she and her family were filmed at Adam and his fiancée Holly’s engagement party without their permission, and they are still waiting for a reply from the streaming service.

The event was filmed by Gordon Ramsay’s production team and will be featured in an upcoming episode of his show, Being Gordon Ramsay.
A source close to the family said that news leaked from Gordon Ramsay’s team revealing Caroline had contacted Netflix through his production company.
Why are they creating so much trouble just to get attention for their film, and why do they deserve to profit from someone else’s hardship?
‘They are using the family fallout as a selling point. It is disgraceful.’
Let me tell you, things are getting real for chef Adam! I’m hearing his very public family drama – specifically, his falling out with his mother and the fact that she’s not invited to his wedding with Holly – is going to be a major storyline in his upcoming series. And honestly? He’s reportedly thrilled to share it all. It sounds like we’re in for a truly revealing look behind the scenes!
According to a source, Caroline stated that the family wasn’t asked for permission to be filmed for Gordon’s documentary at their engagement party last year.
‘She was very clear that, after everything that’s happened, they do not want to be featured.
Cameras captured her delivering a speech, as well as footage of her family arriving at and enjoying the party.
Adam, a 30-year-old father to five-year-old George, and Holly, a 25-year-old social media influencer, are getting married on December 27th at the beautiful Bath Abbey.
The athlete has stopped inviting his parents to events because his mother wasn’t included in the celebratory pre-wedding party for his partner, Holly, which was held in a luxurious location in the Cotswolds.
Other members of Caroline’s family have chosen not to attend the extravagant wedding, including Sir David and Victoria Beckham, as a show of support for her.
A family representative confirmed to the Daily Mail that Adam’s family was present at the engagement party and knew it was being filmed.

Attendees were informed that the party was being filmed. Signs posted throughout the event stated that by attending, they agreed to be recorded.
Since these individuals weren’t interviewed, didn’t appear on camera, and weren’t included in the final version of the program, their consent wasn’t needed.
The conflict between the two families reportedly started at Holly and Adam’s lavish engagement party last December. However, new video footage will reveal the celebrated swimmer interacting warmly with his mother and father.
Cameras followed Gordon for nine months as he launched five restaurants in London while also managing his personal commitments.
Stories about family conflicts among wealthy and famous people are always popular, as we’ve seen with the recent attention surrounding the Beckhams and their disagreements with their son, Brooklyn.
I’ve been following the drama between the Peatys and the Ramsays, and it seems like things started to fall apart at that engagement party. Apparently, everyone was getting along well at first – Adam’s family was there, and it seemed amicable. But according to a source who spoke to The Sun, things quickly went south after that.
‘His mum was unhappy some of the family weren’t there and confronted Gordon at the event.
‘Guests were made to sign non-disclosure agreements and hand in phones as the party was filmed.’
But the source close to Caroline told the Daily Mail: ‘There was no row or confrontation.
They had a discussion about why only some of their family were invited, and not everyone from Caroline’s side – specifically, Caroline was upset that her close sister Louise wasn’t included. It wasn’t a heated argument, though.
Caroline and Mark have sent a formal ‘cease and desist’ letter to Gordon’s production company, officially stating they do not want to be included in his documentary and do not grant permission for any existing footage of them to be used.
No one – not the parents, nor their daughter Bethany – ever agreed to be filmed. However, Bethany is okay with being included and supports Adam in his disagreement with her mother.
It feels like they’re constantly using their influence and resources to relentlessly attack our family, and we just want them to stop.
‘Adam is a mental health ambassador but he is pushing his own family into a dark place.’
