Courtney Stodden reveals why she visited her Beverly Hills plastic surgeon

Reality TV star Courtney Stodden was busy in Beverly Hills this week.

The woman who became famous as a teen bride was recently spotted at a plastic surgeon’s office in Beverly Hills, 90210, following a nose job she had earlier in the year.

Dr. Gary Motykie is a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in nose jobs (rhinoplasty), correcting previous nose surgeries (revision rhinoplasty), and facial rejuvenation procedures.

During a check-up on Friday, the doctor told the Washington native that her nose was healing well, according to a report in the Daily Mail.

The 31-year-old woman, with blonde hair, wore a black tank top and long leggings, highlighting her fit physique.

The celebrity completed her look with beige heels, gold jewelry, and bright red nails, and carried a light beige purse.

The reality TV star, married to film producer Jared Safier, had a small cosmetic procedure to improve her breathing earlier this year.

The actress recently told the Daily Mail she’s thrilled with her new appearance, calling it a fantastic choice that’s helped her breathe more easily.

The actress, known for her glamorous photos and the recent film ‘Confessions Of A Child Bride’, told the Daily Mail that making a change in her life improved her health.

The singer recently had surgery to fix a long-term breathing problem, as they told the Daily Mail.

During my surgery, I also had a slight adjustment made to the outside of my nose. It wasn’t a major cosmetic procedure, just a small improvement done at the same time as taking care of my health.

‘I’m feeling so much better already and grateful to finally be breathing easier.’

Kayla Stodden, known for her marriage to actor Doug Hutchison when she was a teenager and he was much older, had a nose job in February 2016. The surgery was to fix a bump on her nose and improve her breathing.

Stodden explained to Entertainment Tonight that she wanted the surgery because she was unhappy with a bump on the side of her nose.

‘In pictures or on red carpets I just feel really self-conscious about this bump.’

Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE this! I’ve been following Courtney Stodden for ages, and I just found out so much more about her surgery! It wasn’t just about looks, you guys! Dr. Kotler, her surgeon in Beverly Hills, actually told Dailymail.com that she had a really serious nasal blockage and sinus problems that needed fixing. It was a medical thing too, not just cosmetic! I’m so glad she finally addressed it and that it’s helping her breathe better! It makes me love her even more, honestly.

Courtney Stodden mentioned she might consider plastic surgery again someday, but not for a long time. She said she’d likely only consider it if she felt the need to address the effects of aging, but wouldn’t want anything drastic.

The celebrity has previously shared that she had breast augmentation surgery in 2013 at age 18, as well as temporary lip fillers and porcelain veneers.

Over the summer Stodden celebrated her first sober birthday as an adult.

The last time she celebrated a birthday without drinking alcohol was when she was seventeen.

She celebrated her 31st birthday by telling the Daily Mail she feels ‘amazing’ about staying sober and how far she’s come on her journey.

The former teen bride shared that she feels incredibly strong and optimistic about her health going forward. She admitted she never expected to reach age 31, but is happy to be celebrating it now.

I’m realizing I’m more resilient than I ever imagined, and if you feel that way too, you are too! There’s an inner strength in all of us that can help us overcome any challenge. Celebrating my first birthday as a sober adult – here’s to facing it with courage! Cheers, with water, of course!

The model also mentioned that some friends are upset about her decision to stop drinking, as they’re not sure how to interact with a healthier version of her. However, she’s committed to staying sober and won’t start drinking again just to make them happy.

‘Alcohol was my escape for years, but it turned into a trap,’ shared Stodden to the Daily Mail.

I turned to it to cope with a difficult time, but it actually left me feeling worse – more confused and filled with shame. This isn’t just about giving up a habit; it’s about letting go of an old part of myself that I’m ready to move past.

There was a time when losing consciousness from drinking seemed harmless, but it’s not anymore. I was using alcohol to cope with difficult feelings, but it only made things worse and caused me to act out. I’m finally ending that relationship – alcohol and I had a really unhealthy dynamic.
