Davina McCall chose a stylish white fur-look coat instead of a traditional wedding dress when she married Michael Douglas in a private ceremony in London.
The 58-year-old presenter and the 49-year-old hairdresser got married on Friday in a small, private ceremony with close friends and family. The wedding happened less than three months after they got engaged while vacationing in Ibiza.
Photos have captured the sweet moment Davina and Michael left Marylebone Town Hall as a married couple.
Davina beamed for photos with her husband, wearing a white fur coat and lace hat with matching tights and heels. Michael looked sharp in a bright blue suit.
Davina and her partner married after he stood by her through a brain tumor removal and a recent breast cancer diagnosis. Friends say her health challenges led them to decide on a wedding now.
It was so lovely to see Davina and Michael surrounded by all their family and friends at the wedding! Davina’s daughter, Tilly, even shared a sweet video on TikTok beforehand, which really got everyone excited for the big day.

Showing off her wedding look, she captioned the post: ‘Be prepared to be SICK of me.’
Davina publicly shared her happiness about her wedding on Thursday, calling her new husband, Michael, ‘lovely’ in a post on social media.
Davina shared a video of a poem by Harry Baker on Thursday, calling it ‘extraordinary.’
The poem wasn’t about grand gestures; it focused on the simple, shared moments. It wasn’t about flowers or champagne, but about working together, even in messy situations, and enjoying a comforting cup of tea from a well-loved mug.
It’s not just a little craving for chocolate. It’s become a serious obsession – I’m eating like those kids in the story who went overboard!
I choose pizza and a night in with you over a fancy dinner. Sometimes, all you need is something comforting and familiar.
Davina shared Michael’s newest hairdressing video and added a caption, playfully misspelling ‘you’re’ as ‘ur lovely.’
A source revealed to The Sun that Davina and Michael recently got married in a small, private ceremony. They wanted something intimate, so they chose a venue near their home and only invited around ten close friends and family members.

The ceremony was a very personal and meaningful event, shared with people who are incredibly important to them. After a difficult few months dealing with Davina’s health, they felt ready to make their commitment official and didn’t want to delay it any longer.
The following day, life went back to normal for them. Interestingly, they happened to be attending another friend’s wedding that same day.
They celebrated their first weekend as a married couple, proudly displaying her wedding ring. It was a truly perfect getaway.
Davina and Michael have been friends for many years, ever since they met when Davina hosted Big Brother at Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire, and Michael worked there as a talented hairdresser.
After McCall’s 17-year marriage to Matthew Robertson – and the subsequent separation in 2017 – a platonic friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship. Matthew Robertson is the father of McCall’s three children: Holly, 24, Tilly, 22, and Chester, 19.
The presenter revealed in October that Douglas had proposed to her during a romantic getaway to Ibiza.
She remembered being surprised when Michael proposed to her during a September appearance on the Chris Evans Virgin Radio Show. He’d arranged a lunch, which was a bit unusual – a beachside meal at the same beach they’d visited with their children previously.
I thought it was lovely, and then he suggested we walk along the cliffs. The problem was, I was wearing these ridiculous little pink cowboy boots – with steel toes, no less! – and definitely wasn’t dressed for hiking. I could tell he was hoping I’d enjoy it, and that it would please him.
I initially felt sorry for him, thinking he wanted to share something lovely. But then I told myself to stop feeling down and just climb the hill.
A friend close to the couple confirmed their engagement to The Sun, saying she has a ring but is currently only wearing it privately.
This is fantastic news, and everyone who knows the couple is overjoyed. They’re a truly beautiful pair.
Douglas supported McCall after doctors found a rare cyst on her brain – it affects only about three people in a million.
The presenter had surgery to remove a cyst, as doctors were concerned it could become a serious health issue if left untreated.
Even though she fully recovered, McCall wondered if her partner, Douglas, still wanted to be with her after she had surgery.
In an interview on Giovanna Fletcher’s Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast, she explained that her husband, Michael, never used to mind spending time with her. However, she noticed a change where he started mentioning she would repeatedly ask him the same question – sometimes up to seven times in just half an hour.
Honestly, it got to the point where he needed to step away, to collect himself. But I could handle it, I could stay present. It wasn’t typical behavior for either of us, and it definitely wasn’t the life we were used to. Things had shifted, and it felt…off. It wasn’t our normal anymore, and I was starting to realize we were navigating something completely new.
‘I had long-term memory. I could remember… and I thought, “Oh, he doesn’t want to be with me.”
Eventually, we talked it over, and he told me he loved me and definitely wanted to be together.
Little more than a month ago, the presenter confirmed she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
According to friends, her health concerns led her to rush into marriage with Douglas, rather than carefully planning a wedding. They originally thought about getting married in January.

According to a source, Davina has realized how precious life is after recently facing two health scares. These experiences have made her appreciate what truly matters most and not take anything for granted.
Michael and Davina don’t want to waste any time. Both are in their fifties, and with Davina having been married previously, they’re eager to move forward with their plans.
According to a source, she’s always dreamed of a large wedding, but it seems like the actual celebration will be much more intimate. She prefers to keep things low-key and doesn’t want a lot of attention.
The wedding will center around the couple and their relationship. While they plan a larger celebration with friends and colleagues later, they’re aiming to officially tie the knot early next year.
McCall noticed the signs of breast cancer because she’d seen posters for Lorraine Kelly’s Change + Check campaign while at ITV. The campaign helped her recognize the symptoms.
Last November, she shared with her Instagram followers that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. She explained that she’d noticed a lump a few weeks prior, which appeared and disappeared.
While filming The Masked Singer, the Lorraine show put up signs in the restrooms reminding people to check for breast cancer. Every time I used the bathroom, I did a self-exam, and unfortunately, I noticed something was still there.
